You know what would be really cool – BMW electric car with their super smooth engine/traction control, suspension combined with Apple electronics – iPad, music system, Siri, Maps, everything. Not sure if either of them want to work with the other.
I really hope that the data mesh movement doesnt turn into another one of those microservices debacle where we went from one extreme to the other. Tiny services are just as bad as monoliths. I hope we put great care into finding the right bounded contexts with data mesh movement.
Thing I learned about myself: I love to elevate a group’s consciousness of a complex topic (mostly technical, software to be specific) by documenting it in a simple-to-understand manner thus increasing the topic’s accessibility but ...
more importantly, facilitating further refinement in understanding by creating a baseline which allows the topic to be interrogated at an even deeper level.
@nehanarkhede@apachekafka Good luck @nehanarkhede! You have been at the forefront of building a paradigm shifting product in software development. Kudos to that!
Why is system architecture important?
First what is a system architecture?
It is a box and line diagram that visualizes the interactions of your application with other applications in the ecosystem. 1/n
System architecture can help identify your application’s dependencies (boxes) and provide a mechanism for having a conversation about the nature of the interactions (lines) between applications. It helps you build a realistic work plan for building your application. 6/n
@nehanarkhede@hbfleishman I have heard a few great quotes from @jewelia.
“As a leader, you have to know when to be patient and when to be impatient.”
“As a leader, you are judged by the *quality* of your decisions.”
