@miserableseafan@tiptims@hawkmania4 Tearing ligaments is a sprain, by definition. A sprain literally just means an injury to ligaments (as opposed to a strain, which is an injury to muscle). There are three degrees of sprain: 1. overstretched, 2. partial tear, 3. complete tear.
@DavidJ_Cole@DannyVietti Little had given up one HR to right-handed batters in 162 plate appearances this season. One. He might be struggling a bit, but it’s not like he doesn’t have a great recent track record against righties. Cal just beat him.
@smsugar40@SeattleSports I think that’s the difference between a radio call and a TV call. On radio, you gotta keep talking and describing. On TV, let people absorb the visuals.
@TillyKid@reach_baseball Valuable players are most valuable when they hit well at valuable times. Accumulating empty numbers in non-clutch scenarios is not all that valuable.
@MTroia589@24TaylorMade@BenVerlander He’s third in the league in catcher Def.
We can go back and forth cherry picking numbers all day. Cal is and always has been an above-average defensive catcher. The platinum glove winner one year doesn’t suddenly become trash the next, especially in his prime.
@cjb5159 @JeffPassan Congratulations on being the 25th person I've seen post this today, as if it is the only thing that matters in baseball. We'll send Aaron a nice, shiny OPS trophy.
@JPatterson07757@SportsCenter That a guy who’s always had tons of power worked on the holes in his swing and figured out how to make better and more consistent contact? Wildly suspicious. 🤨
@ericriveracooks @Frantastik01 I had a lot of tasty food in Montreal but then I tasted a bagel and it turns out they don’t put salt in their bagel dough so they can fuck right off. Fucking Tuscan-bread-ass bagels.
@timostlundfoss As a former GK, I’m always trying to convince coaches to let their keepers take penalties. Literally all we do all day is take shots on each other!
