It’s human nature to take things for granted. Don’t put things off till tomorrow. Be disciplined enough to do it today. Things might be different tomorrow. The ones you love may no longer be there. Nothing is guaranteed. That’s a reality. What if tomorrow never comes for you??
Wishing you a Blessed Eid Al Adha. After intense days of worship, I wish you a joyous time with your family and loved ones. Amid the strife and suffering going on around us, spare a thought for the less fortunate as you celebrate. Say a prayer for them.
We’re not perfect. We sin, we falter and make mistakes but we do our best trying to please You. Almighty. We ask You to accept the deeds we do solely for Your sake. Forgive our shortcomings. We will never lose hope in Your Mercy. Aameen.
Almighty. Help us to protect our acts of worship. May we not be among those who pray, fast & give charity but curse, swear, gossip & backbite without batting an eyelid. Keep us mindful of such behaviour.
If you don’t nurture your faith, it will weaken & leave you grappling with doubt. What better time to do it than in Ramadan. Satan will normally jump in at the slightest chance & create havoc in your mind. But he’s weakened now. So protect yourself before your heart hardens.
The truth is nobody will truly understand what you’re going through except the Almighty. He knows you better than you know yourself. He’s the only One who knows your true circumstances and is always available when you need Him. He will heal you and make you whole again.
Don’t feel overwhelmed or sad when you hear how much others have been doing this Ramadan. You may feel you have underachieved but if you’re trying your best, that’s all the Almighty is interested in. He knows your struggle. Keep going as we approach the halfway mark.

When you make a promise, fulfill it. When you make a pledge, honour it. When you're entrusted, uphold it. When you've undertaken to do something, do it well. Your word should be as good as gold. Be upright, honest, hardworking, humble, selfless, loyal, trusted, faithful and very polite.
Let’s face it. You are not going to wake up every morning feeling like you can conquer the world. That’s ok. But don’t quit. Those “low” days are crucial in your development. The Almighty will see you through. Place your firm belief and trust in Him. Your load will lighten.
Don’t look at your trials and think no one else has it as bad as you. Instead, learn to rise to the challenge and pass each test with gratitude and humility, knowing the Almighty placed them in your life for a reason.
If you want to change for the better, work on yourself quietly. Growth is usually quiet. You don’t have to explain yourself to anyone. Let them wonder what’s going on. It’s not their business anyway. The Almighty knows and that’s enough.
There’s so much going on around us that it’s easy to feel exhausted, stressed and overwhelmed. Almighty. Grant us peace in this world and in our hearts. Grant us clear guidance and calm our hearts. Guide us to the straight path and don’t leave us wandering through life.
Work hard. Work quietly. There’s no need to publicise what you’re up to. Let your success be the noise. Remember, lightning makes no sound till it strikes.
