tZERO Halo (launched March 2026) was purpose-built for exactly this scenario: it lets AI agents connect directly to digital asset wallets with user-defined guardrails. As one of the only SEC- and FINRA-regulated digital asset securities custodians and ATS operators in the U.S., @tZERO provides the compliant infrastructure that most AI agents currently lack. @Alan_Konevsky
Since the leadership change at the end of 2025, @tZERO has been undertaking a strategic review of its IP portfolio – and is highlighting several foundational patents supporting the architecture of regulated, tokenized securities markets.
The initial spotlight includes 5 patent families / 103 issued patents worldwide, covering:
• compliance-aware transfer logic
• upgradeable smart contract frameworks
• corporate action processing on-chain
• broker-dealer identity interoperability
• legacy-to-blockchain trading system integration
These technologies reflect early infrastructure work that continues to support issuance, trading, custody, and lifecycle workflows for digital asset securities today.
More to come as the review continues and as we look to build product using our patents as well as identify other ways in which our intellectual property should be monetized or enforced.

Self-custody. On-chain settlement. Regulated trading.
tZERO is now approved to support its customers and API partners who wish to custody assets in self-hosted wallets and settle transactions executed on tZERO’s marketplace directly on-chain – without giving up access to a regulated ATS.
Custodial optionality is the point:
· Self-custody or broker-dealer custody
· Seamless movement between on-chain and regulated markets
· Built for interoperability – not walled gardens
This is how TradFi and DeFi start to converge at the infrastructure layer. Asset sovereignty and a tech-driven, self-regulating financial ecosystem are our goal.

The SEC's no-action letter to the DTC is a pivotal moment for US markets. It confirms that DLT is the foundational infrastructure for the next phase of global finance.
🔑 Key Positive Takeaways:
- Regulatory Clarity: Reflects a growing regulatory comfort with distributed ledger technology.
- Institutional Normalization: Validates the use of DLT-based records for large institutional market participants.
- Enhanced Utility: Enables 24/7 liquidity and programmable efficiency for traditional assets on deposit at DTC.
tZERO welcomes this step. However, while retrofitting legacy systems is a vital transition, we believe the end-state is Native Digital Asset Securities.
🔑 The Power of "Digitally Native" Infrastructure:
- Efficiency: Eliminates the need to "pair" blockchain with a duplicative off-chain ledger, removing redundant reconciliation and layers of intermediation.
- Interoperability: Uses open-source smart contract protocols to allow assets to move across diverse global marketplaces with automated compliance.
- Transparency: Provides a full, immutable history of issuance, trading and ownership from the time of inception, visible and verifiable on-chain.

Marcus Lemonis: “I want the last part of my career to be foundational housing, and family housing, and generational wealth building. People thought I got involved with Bed, Bath, and Beyond $BBBY because I wanted to sell towels, and bedding, and stuff for your kitchen. That isn’t the reason. I want to use that as a platform to build an everything home business where we can provide services and products: fintech, insurance, home buying, home selling, home finance, home decorating, lawn, all those things in one. […] I want to do it on blockchain. So we own a big blockchain (tzero) business today that most people don’t know about. Ideally, in the end, a home would go on chain, would go on blockchain.”
@tZERO has received FINRA approval to act as a retailer of mutual funds – including tokenized mutual funds. The approval supports our multi-asset strategy, broadens investor access, and strengthens our digital-first roadmap.

There are several tokenized securities ATSs. Some (@tZERO) are more active than others. Some (@tZERO) are built for open access for a range of products, partners and protocols. Some (@tZERO) are bundled with end to end broker dealer led primary capabilities and on chain custody. But we all built walled gardens - and are jealously guarding our assets and activity. It’s often unclear if we are kings of our castles - or prisoners inside. While we were products of our times - hostile political climate and slow adoption - that world is over. This interoperability, defragmentation and convergence will also help demand/liquidity and more tokenized assets. Siloed tokenization makes no sense. Convergence across platforms, asset types and borders in a truly interoperable 24/7 environment is key to the tokenization solution. That’s when the TAM really makes sense. Chasing discrete assets inside walled gardens one by one doesn’t work. The future lies in tearing down these walls.
🚨 Big step forward: tZERO has filed with the CFTC for DCO & DCM licenses – bringing futures-level safeguards to digital assets. We’re building a unified, regulated marketplace connecting traditional & digital finance.

I believe Konevsky’s leadership will drive significant growth for tZERO. With the current administration providing clear regulations on tokenization, I’m confident tZERO is poised to trade on the NYSE within the next 3-6 months, targeting a minimum valuation of $3 billion IMO.
As the digital asset space matures, one thing is clear: compliance is critical.
tZERO provides broker-dealer infrastructure purpose-built for digital assets that require regulatory oversight—from tokenized equities and real-world assets to yield-bearing stablecoins.
We’re not chasing trends. We’re building the foundation for compliant, scalable digital asset markets.

@AlderLaneEggs@tZERO@fleckcap@marcuslemonis $10 has always seemed to me to be the absolute worst-case scenario.
It made scooping up $TZROP between $1.80 and $5.00 some of the easiest buys of my life…
Patience 🚀
Feels like a good time to put @tZERO on the @NYSE …
Solid leadership, proof of thesis, potential partnerships with deal shops. We don’t make the call on this but can’t imagine why anyone would be against or at least find out if that’s so.
We will send a formal request to the @tZERO board this week.
