"More modules = less coupling = better code structure" seems intuitive, but it isn't always trueโas I learned the hard way.
Discover the coupling-modularization paradox and how to find the sweet spot in your code architecture.

@gregisenberg I want to say "interesting" but I am not sure i will enjoy this much, seems like a very bland experience.
Very soulless.
I don't think i look forward to this one Greg
But as the popular saying goes, evolve or die
I think Socket IO's auto-generated client IDs are a nightmare for chat apps ๐ค
โจ My solution: Use user IDs as room identifiers instead of chasing temporary socket IDs in my Medium article
โ Survives reconnections
โ Clean message routing

Just found a method that significantly simplifies how payments are processed in this app I'm building but I'll have to rewrite my current WORKING process
@sahnlam Very detailed one, i will use this as a guide to explore microservices architecture, but I can't figure out where client request fits in this, or what component receives client request
AI might "take away" some jobs, but it would definitely introduce new careers too, we have had ai artists, ai content creators, and now we have ai based developers.
Be ready for the new world or be left behind

In 2025, I've shipped 4 new simple software products. Thanks entirely to AI coding Agents like @Replit.
It's nothing original, but what I'm enjoying most is fleshing out new ideas, coming up with a business model and offer to go with it, then building a dead-simple 1-feature AI app to deliver the offering.
And while I'm certainly no dev expert, I'm now in a position where I can actually start delivering this as a service (from idea to live business) to others who are thinking about starting a side business in 2025. Crazy.
So, I'm trying something new: https://t.co/qCim44ZyPn
If you have an idea you'd love to explore this year, maybe byab is for you.
much of the AI internet is down now
firebase is down, cursor is down, lovable is down, supabase is down, google ai is down, cursor is down, aws is down... almost everything is down.
finally time to catch up on the 87 tools, 14 models, and 12 AI startup ideas we want to build.
Today I wrote an article on Server-Sent Events
SSE is a web standard that enables a server to push data to a client over a single unidirectional HTTP connection. Unlike WebSockets which provide full bidirectional comms.

Day 31 of #100DaysOfWeb3Education, I talk about RISE Chain.
RISE Chain is emerging as a cutting-edge Layer 2 (L2) scaling solution for the Ethereum blockchain, aiming to tackle scalability and high transaction costs that have hindered wider adoption.
