Software engineer, 28 yrs. Homelab, DIY, cycling and AI, mostly where they overlap. I build things, break them, and post the numbers. Chasing 100 km in 4 hours.
Saw @slashvibe_ai show a physical controller for coding agents today and wanted one right now. My Anbernic RG40XX H became one for Claude Code.
Sessions and limits on the screen. When Claude wants to run a command, it pops up here. A runs it, B denies it.
@SirMuttley HTML mockups before even ordering the panel is smart. The wrong drive sensor is the one bug a mockup can't catch though. My Kindle screen server renders a preview.png from live HA states, so a wrong entity shows up in the browser before it reaches the device.
@SirMuttley ESPHome with LVGL? Curious how many rounds the layout took. Claude can't see the screen, so I'd guess a lot of take a photo, fix the spacing, flash again.
@thorwebdev@M5Stack What frame rate do you get from that one into the browser, and is it streaming over Wi-Fi or the USB-C? Curious how it compares to the badge.
@blackcoffeebtc@arcbtc The green terminal look suits it. What's it running on? And does the nsec live on the device and sign there, or does it talk to a separate signer?
@pkuhar Straight to the 5 hour print, bold. What did most of the back and forth fix, the shape itself or fits and tolerances? I'd guess clearances are where an agent needs the most hand holding.
@swhan0329 Those 0.31 to 0.66 scores on clearly closed louvers are the fun part. Back in Kyiv I had the same problem with an IR AC and just put a door sensor on the louver: open or closed, no confidence score. Will the camera stay once IR works, or is it there to test it?
@conorhutchins@slashvibe_ai Thanks! Right now it's just sessions and limits, but the effort level is a great idea. Colour-coding it from grey to red is really clean. I'll probably add it next, maybe as a small indicator bar under the session info.

@gpbulkin@haydendevs Mostly electricity. The nodes are N100/N150 mini PCs, the Dutch one was €183 on AliExpress. The Kyiv site with a Synology, a 48-port switch and 5 access points pulls about 190 W.
@_dngi@slashvibe_ai It's an Anbernic RG40XX H, got mine on AliExpress a couple of years ago. I've only tried this one, but any muOS handheld with Wi-Fi should run it: muOS already ships Python and SDL2, so the app is one Python script and a launcher. Code's in the repo if you want a head start.
@matt__makes@slashvibe_ai The clock is an Ulanzi TC001 with AWTRIX firmware. Planes come from an RTL-SDR dongle on my Proxmox box running readsb, and Home Assistant pushes the nearest one within 8 km and under 15,000 ft to the clock
@j3rah_@slashvibe_ai Honestly no idea yet, it's been on the USB cable on my desk the whole time. It asks the Mac for state once a second over Wi-Fi, so I'd guess the screen eats more than the polling. Good excuse to time it off the cable.
@chrylis@haydendevs v2 and IPv4 only, I'm afraid. The mesh speaks FRR, RouterOS 6, RouterOS 7 and Quagga on a Keenetic. Four dialects is plenty for one movie.
@Busy__K@0xProbabillity From photos only? How did it get the scale right, from something with a known size like a door, or did you give it a few measurements?
@wangbh030722@slashvibe_ai So the puck is its own little wireless controller. That explains how it turned into a Game Boy so easily. Thanks for the teardown, good luck on the 27th.
