This year has been a lot for me Mehn
Had an accident in February. Thankfully and luckily, I came out unharmed
Had a very bad time at the office that affected my mental health.
Fell sick a lot…. And a lot more. It’s just crazy how life can be brutal sometimes 😖
I’ve been so stressed from work.
Stress is understatement. I’ve been feeling irritated and the environment at work has been feeling off.
I went for a party on Friday. And I danced Eehn. Even me I was surprised at myself 😂😂😂😂😂😂
My husband was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery and wasn't allowed to bring in his phone. But instead of letting me keep it, he turned it off and hid it in his clothes.
He said he didn't want me to worry about keeping track of his stuff.
But the way he went about it felt off. So while he was in surgery, I decided to check it. It wasn't easy getting in, but after a few tries, I did. The first thing I saw were Facebook messages from a woman calling him "my love," asking if he was out of surgery yet, and if I was around. The account was clearly something she made just for him. There was no photo, barely any info, and the only friend listed was my husband. I made sure to screenshot everything as evidence. As soon as I saw those messages, I made a new profile and pretended to be him.
I found out my husband was cheating just seven days after I buried both my parents. And I didn't say a single word. I waited for my moment he didn't see coming.
When you lose your parents back to back, your world stops. The grief was unbearable. But just when I thought it couldn't get worse, life threw another punch. I was still wearing black when I opened his phone.
The messages were all there, her name saved as "Ben" with hearts, and pictures I'II never unsee. I stared at the screen, numb. Not from shock, but from clarity. I realized I'd been sleeping next to a stranger. And in that moment, something inside me switched. I didn't scream. I didn't cry. I didn't even confront him.
I planned. My parents had just left behind a sizable inheritance. He didn't know the amount yet, but he kept asking about it like he was "just making sure I was okay."I decided I'd play the role. I smiled, I cooked, I pretended. Because the second that money hit my account...I wasn't just leaving him. I was going to destroy him.
