More positively... the bluebells (and many other equally beautiful flowers) are out in force in our wood; a sea of calm & tranquility. Birds are nesting and everything bristling with the optimism of springtime.
Baffling that more people don't travel by train when you can pay £5.80 for a seven-minute single journey between Pershore and Evesham with @GWRHelp... Don't know why everyone isn't doing it.
@DaveThroup Just about every inch of this ride was superb, and fills quite a few gaps on your map too. Gloucester to Clevedon has some nice parts too (and is much, much easier). Also, Honeybourne to Banbury has some lovely spots. Also recommend @cycle_travel and @jackthurston for inspiration

Before cars, High Streets were empty and people stood around thinking ‘if only somebody could invent the car, we could finally invent shops because without cars shops just aren’t possible’.
@BeateKubitz Alongside the bridge there at Port de Nanterre, that was the least accessible and most frustrating part of four days riding across France. Appalling.
@BeateKubitz We encountered several of these along the Seine, around Île Fleurie last year. Absolute nightmare, my wife needed help to get through with a fully-laden bike, and I hit my head every single time on that ridiculous pole.
