An incredible stretch of golf holes at Maidstone.

Working backward, the star of the show here is the Cape-style par-7th, long one of my favorite holes here or anywhere.

Beyond that, the par-4 6th, an underrated two-shotter with a devilish green.

Farther still, the drivable par-4 5th, the definition of a risk-reward hole.

Moving back, the long par-3 4th playing over the inlet of Hook Pond and bringing golfers on to the Gardiner Peninsula for the first time.

Across the channel, the lovely par-4 3rd featuring one of my favorite greens on the course.

And lastly, making a cameo, portions of the par-5 2nd.
