@tom_vogel_dev Hit the same wall from the other side — tried a native fullscreen alarm activity from Flutter and Android 12+ restrictions killed it.
The boundary is always further back than you'd like.

@enthusiastDev 81 to 15 is brutal but at least you know where they leave.
I've never measured mine. Timer app, so onboarding is basically one screen — but "basically one screen" is exactly the kind of assumption that turns out wrong.

I put a Snake game inside a productivity app.
Finish a focus session → you get to play.
Sounds like a terrible idea for an app about not getting distracted. It's the feature people mention most.

@pkorac @RevenueCat That's the part I skipped — mine assumes the note belongs to whatever session was running. Works because the timer is always on, but it breaks the moment I capture something outside a session.
Tagging by project is the more honest solution.

@ToothLog_app The one-at-a-time part is the whole job. Slower than it looks from outside, but it's the only version that works.

Turns out shipping it ugly would have told me in a week what I spent months guessing.

Started a timer session anyway. The gate area is a surprisingly good office if you already have the app that tracks it.

@julian_walder Same pattern on mobile. Gemini vision reads a vinyl record photo — label, catalogue number, matrix — and I only step in when the pressing is ambiguous.
The edge cases turned out to be the whole product.

Dark theme, finally done.
Took longer than the timer logic itself. Every screen, every dialog, every chart — one hardcoded white and the whole thing falls apart.
