TOP FUNDS PAY A QUANT ~$350K A YEAR. A FREE MICROSOFT REPO DID THE JOB IN 19 SECONDS, FOUND A RULE THAT MADE +535%, AND THEN SHOWED WHY THAT ISN'T ENOUGH.
the clip is qlib + rea in claude code. one dip rule, 5 years of daily pltr, fees in.
rea finds the rule → 58 lines of python → 9 tests pass → qlib backtests it → one table
"z = (px − sma20) / σ20 · alert when z < -2" - the rule rea pulled out
my favourite part is the fee column. 2.60% across 13 trades, and it's right there in the table.
qlib is microsoft's: 49.7k stars, MIT, pip install pyqlib.
the number that beat it is on screen in the clip.

SHE’S TRYING TO FILM THE PERFECT SHOT BUT LOOK AT THE GUY SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER.
At first, it looks like a normal moment at a basketball arena. A woman in a denim outfit stands in the row behind the spectators, holding her phone high to record herself.
Then the guy in front of her starts smiling and laughing as she keeps posing with her phone overhead.
She lowers her phone, moves through the row, and sits down while the people around her react to the moment.
That’s what makes the clip work: ONE PERSON’S ACTION → AN UNEXPECTED REACTION → A SECOND STORY HAPPENING IN THE SAME FRAME.
The best retention hooks don’t always need a big twist. Sometimes, the background reaction becomes the real reason people keep watching..

THIS IS F*CKING GOLD
Anthropic just shared one of the best tricks for Claude Code.
The idea: run Sonnet, Haiku and Opus 5.5 together, with each one handling only the job it does best.
Opus-level judgment on every big call, without paying Opus rates for every routine turn.
You just start Claude Code like this:
claude --model sonnet --advisor opus
here's the split:
→ Sonnet 5.5 runs the session and writes the code
→ Haiku 5.5 explores files and docs in parallel
→ Opus 5.5 stays on call as the advisor for big decisions
→ you stop burning Opus on work that doesn't need it
Opus only steps in at three moments:
→ before a plan is locked
→ when the same error appears twice
→ before the task is called done
Sonnet builds. Haiku explores. Opus reviews.
JEV engineering is the same move one layer down: the forks that don't need a thinker (which file, which tool, retry or stop) go to JEV in milliseconds, and the big models only see the ones that actually split
the full tree
>> Sonnet 5.5 runs the main session and edits code
>> search maps the repo on Haiku 5.5
>> grep finds call sites on Haiku 5.5
>> docs pulls the API reference on Haiku 5.5
>> Opus 5.5 on call as advisor, reads the whole transcript when consulted
>> JEV routes micro-forks in milliseconds
paste the tree and this prompt into Claude Code ↓
"Rebuild my Claude Code setup around this tree:
>> Run the main session on Sonnet 5.5 with Opus 5.5 as advisor.
>> Create three read-only Haiku 5.5 subagents: search (maps the repo), grep (finds call sites), docs (pulls the API reference).
>> Add one rule to CLAUDE.md: consult the advisor before locking a plan, after the same error twice, and before calling a task done.
>> Route fast deterministic forks (tool choice, path selection, retries) through JEV.
Show me every change as a diff first. No edits until I say go."

THIS FACELESS KIDS CARTOON CHANNEL MADE $74K LAST MONTH WITH NOBODY ON CAMERA
watch what happens when you search kids animation and look at the view counts on these videos
they are pulling tens of millions of views on channels that never show a single human
the whole thing runs on AI now
you give Claude a niche and it hands back a list of story ideas kids are already searching for
it writes the full script, the scenes, the characters, the little songs that keep toddlers glued
the visuals get generated frame by frame and stitched into a finished episode
an AI voice narrates the whole thing in a warm storybook tone
one person uploads daily to a faceless channel and the ad money stacks while they sleep
these kids channels are some of the highest earning accounts on the entire platform because the watch time is enormous
tomorrow I break down the exact niche inside kids content that prints the most with zero face and zero camera
