Haven't been happy with git worktrees. Many subtle bugs and inefficiencies. Coordination between agents in different worktrees is poor, and isolation is not guaranteed as agents sometimes do dumb things. I often want to stack changes, which is error prone.
https://t.co/kkuXatBCni has been pretty cool alternative. Unfortunately, claude code has been starting to force worktree usage with their new `claude agents` command. @bcherny, would you be careful not to force us down that path? Thanks!
A 25-year study of over 100,000 people found that sitting for more than 8 hours a day increases all-cause mortality risk by 60%... even in people who exercise regularly.
Exercise does not cancel out prolonged sitting. They are independent variables.
Every 60 minutes, stand up. Walk for 5 minutes. Do 10 bodyweight squats.
These movement breaks lower blood glucose, reduce cortisol, and improve circulation in ways that a single gym session simply cannot replicate.
Move often. Not just hard.
🚨 Someone just built a fully open-source mocap system that works with any camera.
It's called FreeMoCap, a markerless 3D tracking system that runs on ordinary webcams. It turns multiple camera feeds into research-grade skeletal data automatically.
100% Open Source.
Everything is a loop.
Debugging is a loop.
Learning is a loop.
Non-AI Coding? It's a loop too. AI-assisted coding? Loop.
The question isn't 'how do I control the AI'.. it's 'how do I set up guardrails so it doesn't destroy itself?
