@ThreeJacques@MartinDaubney 4. The "it sucks to be you" I'm alright Jack politics is exactly what is wrong with our country
The failure to care for those less fortunate than us has led to rising inequality, greater divides and is an insular way to rule
I'm fine so who cares about you It's cynical
@ThreeJacques@MartinDaubney 3. No no-one is saying anyone should grant all Indians British citizenship. And that's not what's happening. Again it's a misnomer
@birty4306@LeftieStats@YouGov Maybe. Marginally. A difference of 2% is meaningless. What's the margin of error? What's the confidence intervals? How many people were surveyed? Without that info a 2% difference could mean 2 people...
@AmlexW @LeftieStats@YouGov When such a high percentage reply unknown, I'd say it's negligible
In any case a difference of 2% is meaningless. What's the margin of error? What's the confidence intervals? How many people were surveyed? Without that info a 2% difference could mean 2 people...
@TaraBull808 Probably something to do with chemtrails. Or "the vaxxed". Or weather control. Or a combination. In the 60s it would definitely been aliens π₯±
@ThreeJacques@MartinDaubney And taking away citizenship rights of those who have followed the rules is just shifting the goalposts. As someone who has been a legal migrant in another country that would be ridiculous
@ThreeJacques@MartinDaubney It isn't possible to restrict a right without significant others suffering? Don't do it then. It's still a choice, a choice the government at the time admitted was wrong.
No-one is talking about 500M being granted citizenship. You're either scaremongering or just ignorant
@ThreeJacques@MartinDaubney So in other words, the government did a shitty job that ended in the deportation of British citizens that by the government's own admission were British citizens. I'm glad we agree
@RhodesHecato@PenMandoGorgu@politico πππ like those two concepts have anything to do with each other. Honestly it's like some of y'all don't understand the words you're typing
@supertanskiii Agreed. A lot of people were celebrating when Johnson became leader and that didn't end well for Labour (well I guess it did eventually but he did win an election first)
This choice is neither good for Labour or the Tories
@ThreeJacques@MartinDaubney Absolute crap That scandal (and I'll happily call it what it was) happened because the UK government couldn't be arsed to give them all the correct documentation
If people with deportation orders are being deported that's not remigration (a made up word) it's deportation
