We are extremely disappointed to have been rejected for core participant status in the UK covid inquiry. It states that we ‘did not play a direct and significant role’. The full direction can be read here https://t.co/enauqhmzcE @MareeToddMSP@GrahamEllis247@MonicaLennon7
Tomorrow, a crucial piece of legislation around healthcare will be scrutinised by MPs.
It will happen in a committee room, away from the main chambers, on a whisper.
If it passes, it will worsen the health of the UK population.
Did you know about it? No?

I’m a consultant with an interest in health policy but anyone trying to claim they know what’s going on with NHS work force planning is lying.
So read on if you want one person’s opinion…
Very strong statement by the Belgian and Spanish Prime Ministers, saving Europe from a complete moral and strategic collapse (this statement was given AFTER they met with Netanyahu):
- International law MUST be respected
- Killing of civilians MUST stop
- The destruction of Gaza is UNACCEPTABLE
- There is NO military solution to this conflict
- There is only a political solution.
- We need to stop settler violence in the West Bank

We need volunteers to help us with a bucket collection at the @RangersFC@MotherwellFC game at Ibrox next month - can you help us even by sharing this post?
If you can spare a couple of hours Sat 23rd September 1:30pm-3pm, we'd be very grateful ⚽
We're proud to announce our new partnership with Greenock @Morton_FC ⚽🥳
This means the Erskine name will be proudly displayed on the team's shirts all season, with it being debuted at the match against Rangers in this Saturday’s Viaplay Cup tie at Ibrox. We'll also be part of a raft of fundraising and engagement events lined up for the year ahead
The shirt sponsorship was the inspiration of Morton director Ross Gourdie, himself a former RAF serviceman and a current representative of club sponsor Dalrada Technology UK. Ross’s influence, along with the backing of the Dalrada Group, made it possible for the away shirt sponsorship to be gifted to Erskine, and we'd like to thank all those involved.
We're giving Care Assistants a £500 new-start bonus to join the Erskine Veterans Charity team 🎉
Apply now for full- or part-time roles in our Bishopton team and enjoy:
🎖️ Fantastic career opportunity working closely with senior care staff and Registered Nurses to provide the level of care our Veterans deserve

In 1995, William Utermohlen, a UK artist, received a devastating diagnosis of dementia. Despite facing such difficult circumstances, Utermohlen decided to channel his condition into his artwork and began creating a series of self-portraits between 1995 and 2000. The comparison above shows an original self-portrait from 1967. Tragically, Utermohlen passed away in 2007.
These paintings serve as poignant and accurate representations of the cognitive decline commonly associated with dementia. They have been utilized as educational material for medical students, providing a detailed insight into the changes in cognitive abilities that individuals with dementia may experience.
Dementia is a condition that primarily affects memory, although its exact causes remain unclear. Genetic factors, environmental influences, and lifestyle choices have all been identified as potential contributors to this disorder.
