@JeremySCook I'm just at the end of my understanding on this as well - in my case I was able to get lucky with "function index" 1 doing what I needed. This walkthrough adds a little more info: https://t.co/lHJREpTT3r
Got to go out and test the candy drop fun with the kids. Here's the drone ready to take off with just the parachute lion, no candy. First test went well, drone went up and the parachute stayed on until I did the sideways flip and it flew off like it was supposed to!
Excited to have some pumpkins growing well, but something came and took a bite out of one of them :( checked out my cameras and got to see some deer exploring our yard at 2am, presumably after snacking on an unripe pumpkin.
Modeled up the keychain + backup system case with led holes, @Raspberry_Pi version. Hope it prints out as well as it looks :) Used @tinkercad to model it. There will be one red led and one green led, to show the status of the system.
Just got back from a trip into the desert. Tried to get my ting sim card to work out there and no luck :(. But my straighttalk plan saved the day by allowing me to setup a mobile hot spot and install nodejs on my recently updated ubuntu computer that somehow removed it.
Got to show off my finished glowing ceiling stars tonight on @adafruit#ShowandTell! Powered by an @arduino. Here's the favorite color show, all the stars color changing in unison through the rainbow. Project files and code are up on my github: https://t.co/hQ6Ak4r7gD #3dprinting
One of my junker older hp laptops middle voltage sense pins finally stopped working. Soldered a 331 ohm resistor from + to voltage sense pin on the inside of the power plug. Back to happily running!
Getting closer... Test with a larger star that has a mounting plate on the back for led and holes for the thin speaker wire. I didn't have the led centered so that was annoying, but the glow is looking good other than that. #3Dprinting@arduino
Sadly, I couldn't get into #ShowandTell last night... :( But I can still show you all what I've been working on! Got my garage door state indicator working, @Raspberry_Pi + Oled. code + assembly notes here: https://t.co/8lsmBgLjNB demo video: https://t.co/vKl5UUPX4m
Made a color changing project based on distances from 3x sonar sensors, where each sensor's measured distance corresponds to a color channel. Got to show it off on @adafruit#ShowandTell tonight. Project files on my github: https://t.co/IwL4xhvgGt
Got to show off an idea last night on #ShowandTell. My Dad came up with an idea to use some NodeMCU's to find out which plug is connected to which house circuit. Code is here: https://t.co/MjdBEHeTMq. Also you can watch a demo of it here: https://t.co/FqsdWk2DLX
@TheMagPi Good Morning! Worked on my keyholder+backup system using a raspberry pi, when you hang up your keys, you plug in your USB drive. Files get backed up to it over wifi, and when you take your keys you take all your files with you! Project files here: https://t.co/cRD8jezEQd
Got to show off my @Raspberry_Pi version of my keyholder+backup system last night on #ShowandTell. Hang up your keys and plug in your backup drive, let it backup overnight. Then in the morning take your keys and backup files with you! Its been super useful for me :)
Thanks @adafruit for letting me show off my EL wire on pegboards idea yesterday on show and tell! I did manage to put up some simple info on it on my Make Projects page: https://t.co/i20YJxEdf2 Here's my attempt at a glowing robot head :)
Woohoo! Got @syncthing running and syncing on my keyholder that acts as a backup server! (https://t.co/4upPhpvMlY) Its awesome that I get to take all my data with me when I grab my keys :)
Woohoo! My first Adafruit show and tell! Only slightly nerve wracking but looking forward to the next one. Got to talk about my keychain backup project: https://t.co/4upPhpvMlY Watch me explain how it works: https://t.co/Ls1osWv8Hs
