@LokiJulianus Keep in mind: all the actors in this little drama know how to keep a secret, so if you're getting any leaks or inside info, it's because leaking that info furthers someone's agenda. That includes Politico and Axios, who are not neutral truth-seekers, but players in the game.
@Afinetheorem >Plus global trusted safety institutions.
Can we call them the "Turing Police?" Please? Pleaaaaase? Pretty please with Fable tokens on top?
@mcahogarth What a coincidence! I write urban fantasy so I can discriminate against fairies and werewolves.
Fucking tinks and doggos. They'll get what's coming to 'em. Go back where ya came from!
@DrZersetzung Interviewers give these kinds of "no win" questions when they want to reject you but you did well in the interview, so they need an answer that raises a "red flag" so they can reject you.
@y_nakajima_ Wrong. The correct answer is: all of them. Use the axe to cut off your hand when it gets demonically possessed then mount the chainsaw to the stump. Sling the axe and bat across your back, and carry your BOOMSTICK, I mean...shotgun, in your other hand, just like this guy:
@varadmehta What I don't get is:
- Harris didn't even make it to Iowa in 2020
- She bombed big-time in 2024
- Yet she's the front-runner for 2028
What's changed since 2024 to make people think she can win in 2028? Hopefully, this is all name recognition and people not paying attention.
@ChombaBupe Another aspect is a theorem is purely an abstract concept while an antenna (or any engineering project) has to work in the physical world not just the simulator.
@MerriamWebster Since human language is productive, an orphaned negative doesn't have to stay that way. If I start using "chalant" to describe someone excited or anxious and it catches on, "nonchalant" won't be an orphan any more.
@lawheroezV2 The first hurdle is not selling to the customer, but selling to the VC. Autonomous agents that do workflows end-to-end ("Claude Code for X") are hot right now and sound to a VC like something a lawyer should want.
@basedganyu A first date is supposed to be low pressure so you can start getting to know each other without expectations and have an easy exit in case it turns out you're not compatible. Coffee, a movie, etc. are all good options.
@rolandbouman Nobody reviews compiler output because compilers generate code deterministically according to rules contained in a formal language specification against which that output can be verified, giving compilers a level of trust that would be unwise to give to an LLM.
@willchen500 The secret to Harvey's success is that they don't just market to law firms, but to the clients of those law firms, who turn around and ask the law firms "How are you using AI to reduce my bills?" and "Why am I paying so much for associates when Harvey can do the same thing?"
@willchen500 BigLaw is paying for Harvey and Legora because their clients are demanding they "use AI" to drive down billing costs, and Harvey and Legora are names their clients know.
