Samsung is reportedly locking up around 70% of its memory production capacity through long-term deals that could extend as far as 2031.

The agreements involve major AI and data center customers, including companies such as NVIDIA, Microsoft and Google, giving Samsung predictable demand while leaving less memory available on the open market.

The pricing difference is also huge.
