I regret to inform you Peter Thiel’s Nazi blogger Curtis Yarvin has a new slab of insufferable dreck about how to overthrow the U.S. government. Apparently, Trump is just not monarch-y enough.

The plan:
1. Make everything SUCK so bad we’re all nihilists begging for daddy.
2. Build a literal secret society—a “honeycomb” of sekrit elites in “the cadre” who create an alt-society ready to spring into power when the institutions all fall at once. This will be “anonymous” and super crypto and full of AI gadgets built by Urbit or whatever.
3. Create a “spark” that allows a single person, a dictator-monarch-CEO to turn “the cadre” honeycomb thing into the operational arms of his autocracy.
4. Destroy all the lib/woke stuff and make them all suffer for their woke crimes.
5. Rejoice in handing over all our freedoms to some guy—but definitely not Trump because he’s not hardcore enough.

This is basically the same idea as any number of accelerationist neo-Nazi terrorist cults.

The massive reservoir has fallen to its lowest water level since it was filled in the 1930s, dropping below the previous record set during the severe drought of 2022.

This comes as the Colorado River continues struggling through another extremely dry year, putting even more pressure on a water supply relied on by millions across the Southwest.

The white “bathtub ring” around Lake Mead already shows just how much water has disappeared over the years.

Now the reservoir has fallen even lower.

New: Lake Powell Reservoir Hi-Res images show dramatic loss - in just 10 years Lake Powell water level has dropped 140 feet and it’s lost 2 Million ACRE-FEET. It’s a critical source of water and power to tens of millions in the US SW. It’s now only 30 ft above its critical power pool level where it can’t produce hydropower anymore. A combination of overallocation/ having to supply too many people/ industry/ Ag, low winter snow cover, long term #drought and a warmer climate with higher evaporation.
