I'm moving to Austin for the new job, so I *should* be packing stuff before the moving pod arrives in a few days.
But here I am at 11pm on a Saturday with 6 ghostty terminals spread across 3 projects:
- An ascii-art fractal explorer I accidentally vibe-coded at gauntlet, but never deployed.
- A greenfield murder mystery management app.
- A brownfield VA healthcare project with 3 mothballed apps that need to be resurrected and modernized alongside a partially closed-source server that I've had to reverse engineer.
Tonight's soundtrack is "Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares":

Managing API keys is one of the top security concerns we hear from customers.
Today we’re introducing keyless auth for Claude Platform: authenticate via browser with the CLI, or let workloads use their existing cloud identity (AWS, GCP, Azure, or any OIDC token provider).
@MikePFrank@VaireHQ The only thing more innevitable than the emergence of adiabatic reversible computing will be everyone’s surprise and confusion about what it is.
@bushidocodes There's many different governance models, but the German and Japanese approaches are especially worth looking into if this is your thing.

My grandmother has been following my AI journey. She was born in 1915. Think about that. Two world wars. Computers. Internet. Cell phones didn't even exist until she was already retired.
Now, at the end of her life, she's sending AI generated art from her hospice bed and connected to her family around the world.
My final memory of her will probably be last Christmas. She was so excited to ask about AI and optimistic. "Can you believe that the little old lady has been able to keep up with all this?"
Knowing her... yes I can.
PS - the orange tabby cat featured in almost all her photos was kind of a terror in real life. He was rescued as a kitten after crawling into a warm car engine to in the middle of an Illinois winter and stayed with us for the better part of 20 years.
@0xblacklight@dexhorthy “The app is already complete within the repo, before I start my work. It is already there, I just have to chisel away the superfluous code.”
