BREAKING: $PATH and Deloitte partner on agentic testing platform delivered through Deloitte's ASCEND platform.
What does this mean for $PATH investors? A brand new revenue stream is just beginning - one where $PATH's agentic orchestration engine is used to iterate software testing and development, delivered through Deloitte's ASCEND platform.
$PATH partnered with Databricks to connect enterprise data directly into agentic automation workflows.
The goal is to let UiPath Maestro orchestrate AI agents, robots and business processes with real-time data access, governance and compliance built in.
Umโฆ. Did Box CEO just lay out the clearest bull case for why $PATH is going to thrive in this AI transition world???
Read the whole thing and tell me if youโre still confused after about why $PATH is more essential and important than ever!!!
I spent last night doing some preliminary research on how Claude Managed Agents fits into the AI landscape and ultimately what it means for $PATH.
A key distinction to make - Claude Managed Agents IS NOT a top-layer orchestration platform. It is not designed to sit at the top of an organization and manage end-to-end multi-agent, multi-RPA processes spanning modern API and legacy on-premise systems in the same way as UiPath Maestro.
However, Claude Managed Agents IS a runtime orchestrator for Claude agents. This puts its focus on making agents run much longer and smoother than before with the back-end plumbing (sandbox environment, memory, state management) being handled by Claude. Basically, individual Claude agents will now be able to go off and run with more autonomy and stability and with more memory and duration than before.
So, who does this directly threaten? In my opinion, that would be #OpenClaw (parent company OpenAI), which, in its raw, open-source form, is a bit more of a blank canvas agent runtime that can run on your own hardware or VPS and be powered by an LLM of your choosing. On April 4, 2026, Claude announced that the $20 per month Claude membership could no longer be used to power OpenClaw. 4 days later, on April 8th, they announced Managed Agents, which allows customers to deploy Claude's answer to agent runtime natively within the Claude platform.
As individual agent runtimes get stronger - like with this leap forward in Claude Managed Agents - it seems that agents will be able to handle more tasks at the individual level without needing as much top-level orchestration for ad hoc tasks. As an analogy, think about an individual employee that is now granted more access and a larger brain - this would give them more autonomy with less reliance on top-level management to hold their hand. In the near-term, I see Claude Agents doing very well in the bottom-end of the automation spectrum; however, this is not $PATH's target market as PATH plays in the high-end of the automation space focusing on very complex, highly regulated, high volume workflows.
Soโฆwhat does this mean for more open platforms like $PATH and $PLTR? Well, this signals that Claude is starting to come after the orchestration market with more of a closed ecosystem powered by Claude LLMs. And, they seem to be starting from the bottom of the complexity spectrum and presumably working their way up over time. This still gives $PATH and $PLTR time to leverage their existing customer base and to gain new customers by focusing on the very complex, high-end workflows that their platforms are much better suited for than Claude. This also means that $PATH and $PLTR will likely need to stress to their customers why an open vendor-agnostic environment is better to build with vs. a more vertically integrated solution like Claude.
$PATH is in a uniquely strong position as their technology foundation is rooted in agentic AI + RPA and is currently much better suited for top-layer enterprise orchestration than Claude. PATH's strength is not only in its ability to safely automate end-to-end complex solutions for their customers, but to provide unparalleled robustness and cost-management capabilities by allowing use of a wide variety of tools including cheaper RPA or free-open source models/agents where necessary.
Also, I expect that this is only the beginning of the agent battle between OpenClaw and Claude agents. I expect more developers to build on top of OpenClaw since it is much more flexible and open source. For example, $NVDA has launched NemoClaw, which is built on top of OpenClaw. As enterprise customers struggle to navigate this rapidly evolving market, I predict that they will find comfort in a vendor-agnostic platform like $PATH.
From an agent runtime perspective, $PATH recently announced that they are now providing an environment to safely deploy OpenClaw agents for enterprise-use in Maestro. If Maestro leverages OpenClaw as its primary native agent runtime of choice, then it could create a bit more inherent competition between PATH and Claude. At the same time, UiPath is still very much a customer/partner of Anthropic via their use of Claude for reasoning in the back-end of the PATH platform. Since Maestro supports Model Context Protocol (MCP), my understanding is that $PATH workflows would still be able to trigger Claude agents to run within Maestro workflows. I am interested to learn how this would look/act within from a customer experience perspective though.
It is also very important to note that $PATH is within weeks of launching their own coding agent capabilities - this means that Claude Code and OpenAI Codex will be leveraged natively within Maestro. PATH is designing Maestro's use of coding agents to intake necessary customer-specific documents (business policies, regulatory compliance requirements, etc.), so that the coding agents can consider all of this information when writing code tailored to the customers' needs. This will drastically speed up time-to-value allowing PATH to more rapidly capture the complex, high-end enterprise automation market.
Daniels Dines has explained that coding agents will quickly become the PRIMARY way that technical users/developers interact with Maestro to build out workflows. With Maestro being such an agnostic platform, you could theoretically use a Claude-powered coding agent to build an OpenClaw-powered agent - all built and deployed natively within Maestro.
This is the beauty and strength of $PATH. Always adapting and leaning into major pivots where needed. And ultimately embracing their position as a truly agnostic platform taking the best tools available and integrating them into a uniquely robust platform.

This is what Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei said at the World Economic Forum in Davos last week. His exact words: โI think we might be 6 to 12 months away from when the model is doing most, maybe all of what SWEs do end-to-end.โ
It is a bold prediction, but the headlines omit the part about others' views.
Demis Hassabis, Nobel Prize-winning CEO of Google DeepMind, said current AI is He gives AGI a 50% chance within the decade and says we need โone or two more breakthroughsโ beyond existing technology.
Yann LeCun, Turing Award winner and former Meta AI chief, went further. He called the industry โ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฆ๐ญ๐บ ๐๐๐-๐ฑ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ฅโ and stated that large language models will never achieve human-level intelligence.
Three of the most respected minds in AI. Fundamentally incompatible views. Same stage.
The headlines also skip what Amodei actually described. They let the model write it. They edit it. But this means, obviously, that it is not a replacement. That is role transformation. The engineer is still there, and important.
We have seen this pattern before. Self-driving cars were supposed to be here by 2018. Tesla still requires hands on the wheel. LeCun put it like this: There is a considerable distance between a demo and a system you put in peopleโs hands daily.
But let's consider who benefits from this story. Amodei runs a company valued in the billions, competing for talent, funding, and market standing against OpenAI and Google. Bold predictions attract attention, investment, and impetus to adopt their products. This is not a conspiracy. This is an incentive structure.
The fundamental transformation is already here. AI coding tools make developers more productive. Anthropicโs Cowork product was built in a week and a half, almost entirely with their AI tools. But someone still decided what to build. Someone evaluated if it worked. Someone made architectural decisions. Someone owned the outcome.
That requires different skills. No skills.
The question is not whether AI will change software engineering. It already has. The question is whether, 12 months from now, we will look back on this prediction the way we look at 2018's self-driving promises.
What do you think, is this a transformation or a hype cycle?
Enterprise software stocks are crashing across the board due to a huge misunderstanding about agentic AI. It's time to clear up this misconception among more investors, so I've now removed the paywall from what is probably my most important write-up of the year so far. It explains which software companies are really threatened by AI and which are not. https://t.co/ViQKcUf9ph
If you are a $PATH shareholder and you are concerned over the introduction of Claude, please read this so you understand what you own.
UiPath is NOT trying to build one single super-smart AI helper/agent.
Instead, UiPath built Maestroโฆ think of it as the team manager for a whole orchestra of helpers.
Imagine you have:
- Claude's new Cowork agent (great at working with files on your computer)
- OpenAI's agent (great at creative writing or research)
- Google's agent (great at searching and analyzing data)
- Plus older "robot" tools that do repetitive clicks (like filling forms super fast without getting tired)
- And real human people who need to approve important decisions
If you just throw all these different helpers at a big real-world job (like processing insurance claims, handling loans, or doing employee onboarding at a big company), it's chaos!
Maestro is the smart boss that organizes ALL of them:
- It tells each helper exactly when to jump in ("Okay Cowork, you handle the file part now")
- It gives them the right info automatically
- It watches everything, fixes mistakes, follows company rules & security, and keeps humans in the loop when needed
- It works with ANY AI agent โ old ones, new ones, from any company. The better and smarter those individual agents get (like with Cowork), the more valuable Maestro becomes! Because now you can mix the best ones together easily.
Big companies (banks, hospitals, insurance) care a lot about safety, rules, tracking, and not letting one AI run wild. That's where Maestro shines.
It's built exactly for the enterprise world, and thatโs what makes this company special.
Understand what you own๐ซก
@CanyonUK Thanks for getting back, itโs rather disappointing to hear as your website literature specified the CP10 with all new CF SL bikes. Can I amend my order?
@virginmedia Yes I have rebooted 4 times and spoken to two overseas customer service reps who tell me they have no involvement with upload speeds. Can I please arrange for an engineer to look at the issue please. I have never experienced such slow upload speeds
@virginmedia please check your broadband service in Beckenham BR3, have very, very slow uploads speeds. Please can you address this as soon as possible. Thanks!
