First XI Match Report-
The Saints travelled up to Old Bolts on a lovely March afternoon.
The Saints started well and dominated the half, and really should’ve had a couple of goals. The breakthrough come through some nice play down the left side, where S. Clayton teed up T. Liversedge for a rocket into the top bins.
Going in 1-0 at half time was deserved but it should’ve been more.
Into the second half it was more of the same, lots of control and we found a second through tenacious work from M. Bradbury whose cross eventually landed to L. Neal to go 2-0 up.
Despite all of the control and great play, a spell of 5 minutes of chaos saw us 3-2 down in a game that was in our own hands with 10 minutes left to play, as Bolts fired 3 past us in no time.
This kicked the Saints into gear again, with the equaliser coming from a D. Southwell lay off met by B. Durrant to level the game.
Not long later, D. Southwell found himself in space to square for L. Neal for the match winner.
We made really hard work of it, but a win is a win. COYS.
Goals -
L. Neal x 2
T. Liversedge
B. Durrant
MOTM- L. Neal, two well taken goals and great play all around again. Work ethic rewarded with the goals 👏
This not being awarded as a tackle is literally costing my members an 85/1 winner!!! 🤬🤬🤬
Under control from Pau Torres, poked away by Gravenberch.
Here's a close up of the incident @OptaSTATS@OptaJoe so you can get a better look at it.
How this tackle even got removed in the first place is beyond me. Add it back, do the right thing for the people. Fair and consistent data is all people want.

5 in a row for the firsts👏👏👏
On the gaffers 50th game in charge, Clements firsts make it 5 in a row.
A slow start let Chads take an early lead, but from then on the lads switched on and got a foothold in the game.
A clever @MarcusBradbury0 run led to the keeper taking him out, with @tomlivoo dispatching the penalty calmly.
Not long after ANOTHER @adamsimpson_23 assist landed on @mikelonergan18 magnet head.
We controlled their chances from then on with a clever display.
COME ON YOU SAINTS!

The firsts play their final home game of the season tomorrow against @WinstStAidans as we look to end the season on a high, after huge leaps forward from last season!
Be great to get as many down for this as possible, with MOTM to be chosen by someone watching 👀
#COYS 🖤🤍

We’ve seen some nasty pitch invasions in the UK with fans celebrating promotion, this is St Etienne supporters invading the pitch after being relegated to Ligue 2… 😧
