I solved Missouri's gerrymandered congressional maps today. I built a tool that generates districts of equal population that look how most people think they should.

I love VLC but the UI has always bugged me. So during Monday Night Football I spent a couple hours with Claude building a better looking Mac player on VLC’s engine.
It’s called Tangelo. Early alpha, on GitHub if you’re curious: https://t.co/Dchcf7y0C6
Spending my morning in a Tesla service center waiting room and I am absolutely stunned at the number of people buying tires here. Discount Tire folks. Don’t buy tires at a dealer.
I sympathize with programmers who worked on systems they never cared about, for customers they didn't connect with, and took all their working joy from the mechanical act of turning tickets into code. You have to care about the software to be excited about making it w/ agents!
Bought dumbbells and a bench planning to follow YouTube workouts. That didn't work out.
So I built Pairlift. It goes at my pace, shows me how to do each exercise, and tracks what I've done. Beta's open if you want to try it.

Everyone seems concerned how the courts will decide the Missouri map stupidity but the real question is, does it matter?
Who will hold anyone accountable? When the AG wants the same outcome does it really matter to ignore the court?
Even if you agree with the outcome, the tide will turn again and you will be in the minority at some point and this will be a crazy precedent.
Recollect: Voice Recorder 1.2 is out for iPhone and iPad. It's now free to try.

Am I the only one weirded out by every bit of info on Matthew Mayich being a quote from the family lawyer? Feels like someone trying hard to do narrative control. Hope I'm wrong.
Your professor talks at 150 words per minute. Nobody writes that fast.
Recollect records the lecture, transcribes it live, and hands you a summary when it ends. All on your iPhone, nothing uploaded anywhere.
Pay once. No subscription. https://t.co/1NvEbBoRm6
I've been overwhelmed by the number of ads and in-app purchase subscriptions in apps lately. I've been wanting to return to the days of buying software and owning it.
With that in mind, I've been building iOS apps focused on pay once and privacy first. No analytics, no ads, no accounts and most importantly, your data never leaves your device.
The first one is Recollect, an AI powered voice recorder that uses Apple's on-device models to create transcripts and summaries of your recordings. Great for meetings, lectures, or just recording your thoughts in the car.
Available today for iPhone and iPad: https://t.co/7ubqNgAyqp
Software that does it's work on your device doesn't need your data, your account info, or your trust in someone's server.
Everything I've built runs that way. Tomorrow.
Somewhere along the way, buying an app turned into renting twelve of them. I miss paying for software once and just owning it.
So I built the thing I wanted. Two days.
Recently I've been building iOS apps around two rules: you only pay once, and your data stays yours. No subscriptions, no ads, no accounts, no analytics.
The first one ships Monday.
