How on earth did my 800GB data bundle worth ₦125,000 finish in just 21 days?
Between July 11 to August 5
And now again 8 August to August 28 500 GB is gone on the new data
I subscribed to the 800GB yearly plan and it was completely exhausted between July and August. I subscribed to another 800GB again on August 8, and I am already down to around 380GB.
That means I have used roughly 420GB in the same month.
And before anyone says it was background activity, backups or other devices: I have checked my phone. My backups are OFF, unnecessary background activities are OFF, and I am not using multiple devices for anything that could reasonably explain this level of consumption.
I am not asking MTN to give me another generic explanation about TikTok, WhatsApp, iCloud, updates or streaming.
I WANT THE ACTUAL DATA USAGE BREAKDOWN.
MTN, please tell me exactly where my data went.
I want a detailed breakdown showing:
• The dates and times my data was consumed
• The amount of data consumed during each period
• Which services/apps or traffic categories consumed it
• Any hotspot/tethering usage recorded
• Any unusual or abnormal consumption detected on my line
• A complete usage history for my number, preferably going back to last year
If your records show that I genuinely consumed this data, show me the records.
If there is a technical explanation, explain it clearly.
I have attached video evidence showing my balances and usage history.
MTN, please don't send me another generic response. I need a proper, verifiable breakdown of how ₦125,000 worth of data disappeared in 21 days, and why another 800GB is already down to approximately 380GB.
You recently held a public “Data on Trial” session addressing customers' concerns about data depletion and transparency. MTN said it was committed to transparency and that customers' data consumption could be examined using data-backed evidence.
So please, examine mine.
@MTNNG I need answers, not assumptions.
How can you abduct over 500 people in a functional society? Where you wan put them wey government no go find out except you have a useless government in power?
Dear Americans, do not see this as progress, the man that has mentored all these petty criminals is currently seating as the President of Nigeria and the FBI are covering him.
He was involved in a drug dealing case in USA and cut some sort of deal with the FBI and DEA way back in 1993.
FBI Stop extraditing petty criminals if you won’t do same for their Mentors.
I was in Europe for three weeks and used 26gb of data.
I’ve been in Nigeria 6 days and MTN is telling me I have used 55gb despite being at home and connected to my in-house WiFi for most of that time.
@MTNNG you people are bloody thieves!

Pastor Found Dead After Abduction in Plateau; Four Others Killed in Coordinated Night Attacks
Plateau State woke up Saturday to news of five separate attacks that claimed multiple lives across several communities.
Among the dead is Pastor Hills Emmanuel, a Ghanaian-Nigerian cleric based in Plateau State. The former Dunamis Church pastor and founder of The Wonderful Grace of God Evangelical Ministry in Bokkos was abducted on Friday, August 28, alongside his colleague, Pastor Gabriel Joseph Dipak of Christ Apostolic Church, while traveling from Jos to Bokkos.
Their abductors, identified by witnesses as Fulani militants, reportedly mounted a roadblock along the Barkin Ladi-Bokkos road, less than a mile from military checkpoints on both sides of the road. They stopped a commercial minivan carrying nine passengers and dragged the two pastors out.
According to witnesses, the attackers seized phones and cash from the other passengers before releasing them. Police later recovered all the stolen items at the scene.
Pastor Emmanuel’s body was found early Saturday morning, August 29, near the site of the abduction.
Around 9 p.m. on the same night, four other attacks occurred 10 to 20 miles away:
• A woman was killed in Fang village, Bachi District, Riyom LGA.
• Two people were killed in Radura village, Fann District, Barkin Ladi LGA.
• At least one person was injured in Chakfem village, Mangu LGA.
Five incidents. One night. Same suspected perpetrators. Same targeted victims — Christians.
As of noon on Saturday, the abductors had contacted the family of Pastor Dipak. Their demands were yet to be ascertained at press time.
The latest attacks underscore the continuing persecution of Christians and other minorities in Nigeria’s Middle Belt, a region that has endured relentless assaults and village takeovers by jihadist forces, even as the government continues to frame the violence as a farmer-herder clash.
A lot of people don’t know that In 2011, doctors in Lagos went on strike.
Guess who told Fashola to sack them?
800 doctors were sacked and replaced by 400 junior doctors
Bola Tinubu did.
