@krxevon@heartofkorra ‘white = good’ and ‘black = bad’ are older than race. They come from primal fears of the dark and positive association with the light of day. Then those formed religious symbolism of light and dark. THEN people eventually used those old associations to be racist
Witch Hat Atelier manga is about 1/3 done, according to creator Kamome Shirahama.
"I would say maybe we are about a third of the way into the story. It's really difficult to say. I will say that we have definitely hit a major turning point with the Silver Eve arc."
She also told us that she has the broader strokes of the future story in mind, but not the small details.
"That's not something I decided in advance. It's something that newly develops over time as I'm creating the story. So, nothing's really fixed in stone, but I do think about where I’m going to land."
The manga began in July 2016, releasing a total of 98 chapters and 16 volumes so far. Season 2 of the anime is currently in production.
@osunerd13@scp4231@eventualforever you don’t need to know anything about any lore to figure out that ‘there’s a reason x thing is usually short’ is probably suggesting that y thing is too long
@flowerygaster@Slorpler it’s only easier because that’s how you’ve always done it. If you grow up in a culture that says ‘it’s quarter-to’ by default then that becomes the easier way , n vice versa
@WizzyXchange5@D_Festus34@MtezaU@SoloKruzader MAL ratings are popularity contests voted by fans. They have zero bearing on ‘writing quality.’ Every time a series gets hyped it gets review glazed to the number one spot and then review bombed back down again
