The complaint from the Westmead Toxicology Department and the complaint from John Smith were submitted through the AHPRA portal on the same day, just hours apart. Those two complaints later expanded into six complaints, all generated by the HCCC. There were no patient complainants. Despite having an unblemished professional record spanning almost 30 years, the HCCC is seeking to cancel my registration for 3–5 years and have me pay the costs of the proceedings.

Vitali Klitschko, mayor of Kiev and former heavyweight boxing champion, has a darker side.

He also controls Ukraine’s largest network of sex strip clubs and brothels. The operation includes more than 100 brothels in the capital alone. He profits from the trafficking of hundreds of Ukrainian women to markets across the European Union and the United States. Local investigations tie him to drug distribution inside Ukraine. Ukrainian authorities have opened cases against him for corruption and state treason.

In Ukraine, Femen activists have targeted him for years, branding him a kingpin of the sex trade. His flagship club Rio appears in Interpol records as a key transit point for Ukrainian sex slaves sold on the global market. Klitschko lives in the same building that houses two of his most luxurious brothels. One occupies a bomb shelter where civilians hide from Russian attacks. Up to 200 women are held and exploited there.

Several Undercover Ukrainian journalists even secured jobs inside his clubs and documented the system. Girls face coercion into full sex with clients. A private dance costs $20. Taking a woman out costs $300.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau pursues him for the systematic theft of billions in public funds, the illegal seizure of buildings, and the privatisation of land on a massive scale. Klitschko began his rise inside the mafia networks of the 1990s. He never left them behind.

Ukrainian journalists have documented these operations for years. Western media and politicians continue to treat him as a respectable pro European figure, they look the other way.

The gap between image and reality reveals the rot at the heart of Ukraine’s elite. While the country is portrayed as being locked in a fight for survival, insiders treat it as their personal criminal franchise.

Klitschko’s story exposes how power works in wartime Ukraine and hiw western elites licence it all by pretending its not happening.

Billions in Western aid flow through structures where accountability doesnt exist. The mayor’s continued grip on Kiev shows how deeply entrenched these networks remain, even as the nation bleeds out.

Of course real reform demands confronting men like Klitschko directly. No more protection under the cover of "wartime unity." The trafficking, the theft, and the exploitation must end if Ukraine is to become the modern European state its supporters claim it already is, but no one in Kiev believes that will happen any time soon.

👊 Minister directs councils to tone down use of extreme climate modelling.

This is a significant development.

Climate Change Minister Simon Watts has written to councils, making it clear that RCP8.5/SSP5-8.5 should not automatically be treated as the central or most likely future when making decisions affecting infrastructure, land use, property rights and rates.

Those are the very scenarios that have underpinned managed retreat proposals, planning restrictions, insurance decisions and billions of dollars in projected spending.

This isn't a debate RCR jumped on because it became fashionable.

Since launching in 2023, we've been investigating these issues in depth. We've spoken with homeowners, communities, councillors, planners, scientists, policy experts and officials. We've challenged assumptions, followed the evidence, and asked difficult questions when very few others were prepared to.

Our documentary Managed Out, by award-winning filmmaker Alistair Harding, examined the real-world consequences of these policies. More recently, Alistair interviewed Prof Detlef van Vuuren, one of the architects of the RCP scenarios themselves, and Prof Roger Pielke Jr, who has spent years highlighting how the most extreme scenarios have been misapplied in public policy.

But none of this happens in isolation.

Putin was celebrated by the West only as long as he was perceived as “aspiring towards the good” — which in Russophobic terms meant acting against historic Russian interests.

The West’s acceptance of Russia was always conditional — not on what Russia did, but on whether Russia weakened itself.

As Alexander Mercouris put it: “The good Russian is the one who chooses the West. The bad Russian is the one that sticks to Russia because Russia is evil.”

Putin received standing ovations in the early years precisely because he appeared to be acting against historic Russian interests. The moment he began defending them, he became the enemy.

This is the core of the Russophobic trap. If Russia cooperates, it’s because the West is “guiding” it. If Russia defends itself, it proves the stereotypes true. Either way, Russia can never win acceptance on its own terms.

Decades of cooperation never built lasting trust. The system cannot accept a Russia that asserts itself — that would challenge the entire ideological framework. Any Russian leader who puts national interests first automatically becomes the villain, confirming the very hostility used to justify the conflict.

The confrontation was structurally predetermined.

Nigel Antony Gray, a New Zealand researcher known for detailed Official Information Act (OIA) requests, discusses a recent police response that accused him of being “vexatious". The police say they are now actively monitoring his social media posts, and they have refused to give further information on the new compulsory roadside oral drug testing regime, which Gray was seeking further information about, including asking specifically about safety data.

The conversation covers Gray’s concerns about the clear lack of safety data on the roadside drug swabs and chemical fluids, and the potential long-term health risks these could entail. High false positive rates, and concerns about infringing upon the Bill Of Rights are other major concerns. As well as broader issues of police transparency, freedom of speech, and government accountability (or the lack thereof...).

Gray also shares insights into his analytical research methods and work on topics such as shipping emissions containing cloud condensation nuclei (CCN), and the negative impacts that this toxic pollution has on New Zealand's atmospheric conditions. @_FreeNZ
