I believe in the right of the state of Israel to exist. therefore I am a Zionist, therefore, according to @TheGreenParty I am a racist. I will keep to myself what I think they are, but electorally they’re toast.
@WinstonsButler@emilyhewertson You are not a conservative then. And fundamentally everything that is wrong with the tory party. Another reason for me to never return.
Had to go over to the desk to make sure someone came over to a patient who had his alarm on and had been shouting 'nurse' for a good 15 minutes. Absolutely within earshot of staff, especially the alarm call button. Angered me so much they just ignored him and I had to get them
@SteveShovlar She should then pay for it out her salary, like all the rest of us have too. Get the car taken away unless she can pay for it herself as if she can work, clearly she doesn't need it funded by us lot.
@Charlie749Gy@Familyislife74@jessalinecaine You're an idiot. Do you not see the very reason severely disabled people (like my aunt who is wheelchair bound with cerebal palsy) have to jump through hoops is precisely because of the people who are taking the piss, thus making life harder for genuinely disabled people.
Law must be changed to make offence to publish address details or similar of private homes of those in public life
World has changed.
Too many nutters out there, egged on by likes of Times and Sky who think it’s acceptable to put us in danger.
Their politically motivated smear campaign against Nigel and others in Reform has real consequences
Yet no shame no apology
If it wasn’t for people “speculating” about Ann Widdecombe’s murder the police might have tried to roll out the “mental health” excuse.
Well done everyone who refused to accept their “not politically motivated” nonsense.
We deserve transparency not manipulation.
Ann's family is her nephew the Rev'd Roger Widdecombe and his wife and children. He's the vicar at St Paul's in Cheltenham, and as a priest he'll know that people mourn in different ways. He'll also know that Ann's political family was very dear to her (her vast Christmas card list will attest to that). I doubt very much that Roger shares Ann's political beliefs (CofE vicars tend to lean left), but I feel sure, as a fellow Christian, that he'd understand Reform politicians laying bouquets of flowers at an impromptu shrine near her home and paying tribute to a deeply valued colleague, because that's what many politicians do at such times, and do so sincerely. I also feel sure he won't be judging motives: Nigel Farage has lost a dear friend who was herself something of a one-woman weapon, so it's perhaps hard to detach the mourning and grieving from weaponising. Indeed, those who hurl the allegation are themselves weaponising Ann's death: her whole life seemed to be one of separating the sheep from the goats. Just let people mourn and grieve in the way they want to, because Ann would want that, including for her detractors, and including those with more political antennae, which Ann rarely ever turned off.
