@MelissaCole@awesommelier I'll go up to a 3 day brine prior to smoking something but I am such a procrastinator when it comes to anything more advanced
@MelissaCole@awesommelier It looks foolproof but this fool has had it for nearly 10 years and hasn't attempted a thing as he doesn't trust that any meat curing isn't foolproof but simply has a strong survivor bias
@WayneTheMurray Having predicted to Mike that you or Claud would be in the pub I then mentioned that my cousin did and my brother does valeting. Good work D.
Happy to drive across town if he wants more customers (it'll be a big job)
@vinosity As others have said, pressure cooker, I'm sure this came up when your pasta wouldn't cook properly previously.
A moka pot apparently brews a stronger cup of tea, there's always one knocking around somewhere, maybe worth a try.
Good luck, morning rituals are important
@MrsMummypennyUK Those post war investments that worked out compounded over 25-50 years and he was able to provide financial stability to 3 children, 8 grand children, 16 great grand children. This is not something I could have done
@MrsMummypennyUK 2006, 2 bed flat in Brighton, cost £200K, £70K deposit from my family. My grandfather was the hardest working person I have ever met, reinvested everything he ever earned, half of his investments came to nothing but he was investing through the greatest boom in history
@SnookerBunnyy@SouthwarkMatt @MrsMummypennyUK We did this 4 years ago with 2 small children (2&4). We'd had the heating, electric, and bathroom installed but otherwise it was a shell. If you've got cold water, a drain, and a portable induction hob you can go a long way.
@robertjoseph@quick_philip Danebury and Upperton are small production, I wouldn't expect them to be high margin at that price, not for the producers at least.
It looks like compering 🍏&🍊
How's that retailer doing on £30 grower Champagnes?
We're all aware that many consumers buy on price
