@firstdirecthelp need to pay in a cheque. Keep seeing references to "pre-paid paying-in slips" with no further detail. Should I have been sent these or are they available in HSBC/Post Office branches? Never before has paying in a cheque seemed so unclear.
@OxfordDiplomat I'm confused by the response to Tusk. Surely the only people who can be offended are those who admit they pushed for Brexit but didn't have any plan. And those people have no right to be offended.
"If she had said an Irish or a Scot or a Brit or a Lithuanian it would - I know it would - have had the same effect". So Neeson distinguishes between white people based on nationality but he'd have killed any black man he could find? Racism upon racism.

@_MichaelZink That's not the intention of the statement. Samsung would say its colours are the most accurate. We would say that perfectly representing the colours as mastered is more or less impossible. Some TVs are punchier, some are paler. The Q9FN is actually the more 'correct' of these two
@_MichaelZink Clarification added. We're all about maintaining creative intent. Whether it's a TV, speaker or amplifier, the goal is always to get as close to the original mastering as possible. Of course, true neutrality/authenticity is essentially impossible to achieve.
Installed a loft ladder on my tod today and without phoning my dad once.
(did phone him immediately afterwards, though, suggesting I've still got a way to go before I'm a proper grown-up)
(he said he's very proud of me)
@jamielenman This was genuinely great but I was left wondering - if you had realised at the time that you were part of a scene / that you were hitting home with people, would Reuben have lasted longer?
