@Greeningdon@LyonCourt The differenced Royal arms are Beauclerk, Dukes of St Albans, title created by Charles II for his son by Nell Gwynn. Peter (RIP) was a cousin of the current holder of the dukedom, his mother having being born a Beauclerk.

@LyonCourt Very sorry to hear this sad news. I remember fondly attending some of the Heraldry Society of Scotland visits he led to places such as Mount Stuart and Drumlanrig in the late 70s. Charles was very knowledgeable and happy to share his learning. A charming man. RIP
