If you're interested in seeing the power of small actions coming together to spread positivity across a whole town, take a look at our 2022 #LitterRipple map

We're just 3 days in & the Ripple is already reaching every corner of #Tonbridge! #LitterHeroes
Our 2022 #LitterRipple kicks off on Friday 18th November and runs for 10 days (we'll explain why below!). We can't wait to get stuck in and see how far across town it spreads this year. With your help, we hope we can reach more than last year's record 160 streets!
A bumblebee can only fly for about 40 minutes between feeding. But we've lost 97% of our wiลdflower meadows. So each nectar-rich flower you plant in a windowbox or in your garden or community green spaces could be the pit stop that saves a bee ๐
Dear councils, please support the push to restore at least 30% of nature by 2030. Easy win: prioritise biodiversity over non-essential mowing, and don't spray or use plastic grass. Let's give wildflowers and pollinating insects (and ourselves) a chance ๐
Worried about declines in insects like bees and butterflies? Ways to help in your garden:
๐ Don't over-tidy
๐ Let grass grow long
๐ Let dandelions grow
๐ Plant lavender and sedums
๐ Leave some nettles
๐ Add a wood pile

To help a grounded, struggling bumblebee - which is probably hungry and tired - place it on a nectar-rich flower. This dandelion in our garden was a lifesaver! As last resort, if no flowers available, offer the bee a white sugar & water 50/50 mix ๐
Bumblebees can only fly for about 40 minutes between feeding. But 97% of our wiลdflower meadows are gone. So every time we plant a nectar-rich flower, it could be the pit stop that saves a bee ๐
We're back on air TWO weeks today and your garden videos will form an integral part of the show. If there's a planting combo you're proud of or a nifty tip you'd like to share, please check out our filming guide in the link below and upload your clips ๐๐ฅ https://t.co/2z7qLf0zwX

Our feathered friends need all the help they can get at this time of year, so if you haven't got round to filling up your feeders or putting out fresh water, now's the time to start! Which birds visit your garden in winter? ๐ฆ๐ฆ #GardenersWorld#BigGardenBirdWatch#Winterwatch
