Water usage has been a hot topic in the AI data center world, but the numbers may surprise you.
According to the Manhattan Institute, data centers use 0.2 percent of daily water usage in the U.S. and that number has dramatically decreased in the past few years due to a new method: liquid cooling.
By moving to 45°C liquid cooling, AI factories in favorable climates can use dry coolers instead of conventional cooling-tower-based systems, cutting facility cooling water use from roughly 2.6M gallons per MW per year to near zero.
Liquid cooling enables AI factories to be both water and energy efficient, while creating opportunities for heat reuse and dispersal to local communities, allowing these factories to become energy grid assets.

@Cyberhonk26@starmexxx My sentiments exactly. 12,500 creators making 100k is not a lot compared to the number of artists that exist on the platform. Becoming a unicorn takes more than hard workthe stars have to align perfectly.
OPUS 4.6 WAS NERFED DUE TO DEMAND BUT OPUS 4.5 DOES NOT SEEM TO BE HIT
this guy ran the same test on both models.
Opus 4.6 fails consistently but Opus 4.5 passes every time
he switched back to Opus 4.5 on Claude Code and said "what a difference, feels like i got Opus back finally"
he is now using this test as a "quantization canary" that runs it at the start of every session before doing real work. if it fails, the model is degraded.
five Opus 4.6 windows in a row failed
the untransparent nerfing is pushing people to cancel their Max plans
if you've been feeling like Opus got dumber lately, you're not imagining it
i'd suggest switching to Opus 4.5 to see the difference for yourself
CLAUDE OPUS 4.6 THINKING REDUCED BY 67%
- Data shows Claude Opus 4.6 now thinks 67% less than before, dubbed “AI shrinkflation”
- Same price but noticeably dumber; users report more guardrails and restricted output
- Anthropic stayed silent until public data dropped; suspected compute-saving for next model (Mythos)
BREAKING: Anthropic accidentally leaked its next AI model and it just wiped out $14.5 billion from cybersecurity stocks in a single day.
Claude Mythos was accidentally stored in a publicly accessible data cache and discovered before Anthropic could announce it.
The model showed dramatically higher scores on cybersecurity tests, meaning AI can now detect and respond to threats at a level that traditionally required entire teams of security professionals and expensive enterprise software.
Investors immediately started pricing in the question nobody in the industry wants to answer:
if an AI model can do this, why does anyone need CrowdStrike?
And the market answered immediately:
- CrowdStrike is down 5.85%, wiping out $5.5 billion.
- Palo Alto Networks is down 6.43%, wiping out $7.5 billion.
- Zscaler is down 5.89%, wiping out $1.35 billion.
- Tenable is down 9.70%, wiping out $185 million

@minchoi@grok how do you think this will impact small game developers that want to make games and what do you see the doing to maximize on what’s potentially possible with this technology?
NVIDIA + Stanford just dropped NitroGen
"plays-any-game" AI trained on 40,000 hours of gameplay across 1,000+ games.
They're releasing the dataset + model weights. 👇
More co-op clips! Supporting multiplayer has been a lot of work, but worth it.
Demo next month, full game March 7th!
