@RogersHistory This has made me laugh so hard! Obviously they just sit around all day so then not being around will not have an impact. And obviously there are no underlying reasons at home for students to not be in, they only need a ride. What an absolutely ridiculous statement! 🤦♀️
Receiving a thank you card is always a double-edged sword for an English teacher. It’s so bittersweet to read, “thanks for teaching me english your a great teacher”.
@JohannahCowley1@missmteach16@MrTs_NQTs Completely agree! For eight years I experienced this most holidays and finally concluded the lack of purpose was the cause! I've got 3 copies of #theboyquestion to give away. To be in with a chance of winning one, simply retweet, then reply with the most memorable question a student has ever asked you.
I'll pick 3 winners from the best answers at 6pm on Sunday.
This year is hard. Harder than hard. But I am so incredibly proud to work with the people I work with. If #ofsted grades were given based on the resilience, heart and passion of the team, we’d be happy outstanding with rainbows. #teachinginapandemic#everydayheroes
I am so excited to #teach again! Literally biting at the bit to do the thing I enjoy most! #teachertwitter#edutwitter Now to block out the news for the next week to not dampen my enthusiasm!
