A 50 y.o. USPS worker in Eagan, Minnesota had a stroke while driving and struck a median curb. When law-enforcement arrived on the scene, he was confused and could not tell them who he was or where he was. 

They dispatched a specially trained Drug Recognition Evaluator (DRE) to determine if he was under the influence of illicit substances.

Body camera captured him saying a full evaluation, which typically takes 45-minutes, would be “time wasted”

The man later died in his jail cell.
