@qroniqls@silverpenydr Agreement is Agreement. Firstly, he isn't supposed to send the money to his dad. He was supposed to send the money directly to his friend, who rendered help to him wholeheartedly.
Nigerians are to pay the new transfer levy of N50 for a N10k transaction and above, imposed by the CBN. Let's not forget that Nigerians are already paying excessively for SMS notifications, monthly maintainance, bank cards, ATM usage, VAT, etc. We also pay heavily to purchase data used to use these bank services thru apps, and spend heavily to purchase fuel, diesel, or solar used to power the gadgets used.
You will think a govt that wants to encourage cashless policy will make smarter decision; But no, and to make matters worse, this ridiculous decisions also affects Fintech platforms.
A lot of Nigerians stopped using traditional banks due to excessive charges, only for the govt to still frustrate their efforts.
Dear Dell, @Dell
Across Nigeria, countless young people are being held back, not by a lack of talent, passion, or determination, but by the absence of a basic tool: a laptop. In a world driven by innovation and technology, this single gap is quietly limiting dreams, growth, and opportunities.
Nigerian youth are incredibly resilient and gifted. Many have tried to adapt by relying solely on their mobile phones to learn, create, and compete globally. Sadly, for many others, even that option is out of reach, leaving them feeling helpless and forgotten. The result is a generation struggling to meet global demands, not because they lack ability, but because they lack access.
Your brand has consistently shown a commitment to empowering young people and contributing meaningfully to global development. That is why we are reaching out with hope. This challenge is no longer just a local concern, it is becoming a wider African and global issue that demands urgent attention.
We humbly ask that you consider intervening. Your support could help save thousands of young lives from being rendered redundant and incapacitated in a fast-moving digital world. Even refurbished laptops would make a profound difference, opening doors to learning, innovation, and self-reliance.
We believe that with your help, these young minds can thrive, contribute, and shape a better future.
Sincerely,
