@SageofSickFlips @chukwu_somaga Canonically it’s about 50kg weight added. Realistically assuming a bit denser than osmium it would be roughly 20kg. Split across a body with super strength and pretty much instant muscle regen. That’s bearable. He’d be a bit slower, but sturdier.

@butphill @Richard18719415 @MoneyMikeSavage Yeah the showmakers kinda trusted that Stephen Ambrose did his due diligence, but he only wrote the stories as told by easy company and not much outside research. Same with Sobel. An asshole no doubt, but also not fully incompetent in the field. Did his part in the war.

@butphill @Richard18719415 @MoneyMikeSavage Yes and no, it’s based on the recounting of the members of easy company. Many details are wrong, but it’s how they perceived things in the moment. That being said, they could have made a better job at showing reality, whilst showing why the members perceived it differently.

Sadly Massachusetts has not yet come to the civilized age and here the prosecution need to prove sanity beyond a reasonable doubt, something that can’t be done.

@JinxIsDekoSan @yatesie90 @ScripeWoW @WarcraftDevs The point isn’t getting more gear, it’s that progress takes time. More gear changes progress. Dps checks requiring hard swaps are now easy, instead of 2 heal cds it’s 1 etc. Liquid gets to do that prog earlier. The advantage diminishes over the week, but it’s still an advantage.

Tbs: Pool strat was one of the worst calls ever, like not giving marshawn lynch the ball inside the 5 yard

@JinxIsDekoSan @yatesie90 @ScripeWoW @WarcraftDevs More gear means easier living incoming dmg and beating dps checks etc. So you need to reprog and shift around CDs.
And here the 14 hours are easy catch up/ lead building by Liquid, it’s clearly an advantage for more than 14 h. And nothing speaks against just removing it.

Obv. Liquid doesn’t have more gear for more than 14 hours, but more gear changes the fight and liquid gets to experience that first and that lead propagates longer than 14 h 1/2

@lmaobrowha @RogerbrownWoW Exploit’s a loose term. The pool was undertuned and Echo exploited that. But it’s not like exploiting something clearly buggy.
It was meant to be swimable for a moment, to cross it in the fight.
Still a horrible call, since echo themselves did it first time they saw platform 4.

Also major bugs or tuning walls are rarely a thing come week 2/3. Because if they exist(truly impossible stuff) Blizzard actually changes quite quickly.

@JinxIsDekoSan @yatesie90 @ScripeWoW @WarcraftDevs Of course week 2 (and 3) are different. Maintenance is only way longer week 1 where the actual patch happens. Week 2 forward maintenance is quick. Also reclears and splits take almost 2/3s of the day most times. Something liquid can do chill knowing echo has to progress with 1/2

This race came down to scripe deciding on a dumb strat after seeing his own players winging platform 4 successfully the first time they reached it. Still headstart is bs and will put doubt on many liquid wins

@xXCumEnjoyerXx @jm11johnson @allyparser Echo players constantly are saying it’s an issue. There is a difference between saying it’s no issue at all and it’s not as big as people think and wasnt the reason so far for a wf.
But every reset eu needs to catch up before being able to prog themselves. Even worse since it 1/2

@JinxIsDekoSan @yatesie90 @ScripeWoW @WarcraftDevs Also liquid can pretty much chill clear unless echo might kill before their reset. So on tough bosses liquid can’t always boost their progress ahead with new gear after reset, whereas echo has to catch up, before slingshotting each other.

Come week 2 reset is a huge boon. Rarely major bugs or misstuning left. Also even if eu gets their reset they still need to reclear and reprog with the new gear. So Thursday at the earliest they can full prog
