@piquiliguardi Seems pretty ubiquitous in Germanic, Slavic, and Romance. Arabic has شخص and ناس. Another interesting parallel with monde and cosmos is that the wor- in world originally meant man. From the same word as the were- in werewolf.
@hhpapazian Sorry that was trolling. Is there some other model for the development of the alphabet I’m unaware of? I have my own points of contention with the standard model, so I’d love to read about any other.
