In 1973, I sneaked backstage with a fake press pass & "interviewed" my heartthrob, the awesome @MelanieSafka, after her concert at Penn State. I was shaking like a leaf; she knew I was fronting; but she was gracious & beautiful beyond words. RIP Melanie - I'll never forget you.
