@MacroMicroNMike @QuasarManiac @nyaraVT I went through university where it was very clearly stated that word counts were quite strict and any word count given was the target +/- 10%. No teacher is setting a word count of 500 and then sitting there and reading through a 10000 word essay

The correct grade was a 0 after deductions, but even without the deductions it would have been at best a 5/25 if you were very generous.

And yes, I’m sure your degrees are much more difficult than a masters in molecular biology with bioinformatics
