When I visited the castle I had a long talk with the person working in visitor center. He explained that the sea formed a natural moat around the Roman Fort. Later we stopped for a pint in Eastbourne.
@TonyClimate This is bizarre - are you in the US? and we are local ?
Pevensey Castle stands 10m above sea level, roughly the same elevation it sat at in 1066. ( wikipedia) There was no Roman moat !! There is one from the Middle Ages within the Roman walls
You can buy fifty thousand air conditioners for about twenty million dollars. But spending trillions of dollars on the climate scam wonโt save anyone.
Interesting how a list of past disasters is meant to comfort us .. 50,000 dead this summer, two-thirds down to warming we caused. I'll take attribution science over superstition. Adaptation AND emissions cuts .. both needed. #ClimateJustice
@pboiler942@ItalianExplore2@TonyClimate 1) someone who think he can prove or disprove acceleration by eyeballing a linear regression is ignorant, if the same person thinks he can be smug about it he's an idiot.
2) picking a single location IS cherry picking. You don't know what you are talking about.
Blistering record heat in Europe this summer killed more than 50,000 people, with nearly two-thirds of that death toll blamed on human-caused climate change, a new study found. https://t.co/0jaSN8b7HG
The point of social distancing was to convey the message to the public that everyone else (including neighbors, friends and family) was a threat.
The psychological warfare worked very well, as I lost several close friends because I refused the clot shot and face diapers.
"A reconstruction drawing showing how the Roman fort at Pevensey may have looked in about AD 300. Although the sea is now a mile away, at this time it came right up to the walls in some places"

The San Juan River near Bluff, UT is flowing 16,700 cubic feet per second. The only time it has been higher was in September 2003. Lake Powell will rise several feet over the next few days as a result of this flooding.

@TonyClimate Did you do any research ? Tidal flat - "flat or nearly flat tidelands that are frequently muddy or marshy". It is called 'Pevensey Marshes'. Much of the land is drained , susceptible to flooding and at sea level. ยฃ140M being spent on Coastal defences along there.
President Trump is heading into the midterms with poll numbers in the gutter, and consumer prices in the stratosphere.
All of this could have, and should have, been avoided. First, by not starting a war with Iran, and second by not continuing the war with Iran once the writing was on the wall.
But alas, the president continues on and indicates that more war is on the way. Can the American people handle even higher prices from here?
