@realroseceline It cuts both ways. To pressure Uber, GOOG/TSLA need enough AV capacity to matter across many cities. If they size the fleet for peak demand what happens off-peak? Idle cars will crush their utilization and ROIC. At what point are they just deploying billions at negative returns?
@ConsensusGurus coming back here, last week's numbers were... 156% GGR YoY!! (96m vs 37.5m) highest week ever as public got crushed.. handle +15% YoY. this was pulled from raw data, NYSGC puts out the "official" report tomorrow..
@ConsensusGurus 0dte options were not pricing in these moves lol. Prob some value in buying these straddles for pennies 15min from the close on big expiries / YE Moc
@amMeButYouRu@Lars_Kruse_1973@garyblack00@martinandres Uber is a distribution platform. They just need one driverless option cheaper than a human. People will buy FSD Teslas and list them on Uber. Ultimately I believe Tesla will leverage Uber’s customer base and partner just like Waymo
@Lars_Kruse_1973@garyblack00@martinandres Ubers 170m active users currently on their platform. How long will it take Tesla to build that network? Driverless fleet will reduce Ubers costs as well
@ConsensusGurus Love the new additions. Possibly short interest % before each release? Can see if prior large moves are driven by short squeezes and illustrate relative positioning into this print
@nyhedge@orrdavid Correct a few banks offer this already. Two main issues that are tough to solve (1) visibility into the HFs holdings, which they often don’t want to share with a big bank, and (2) liquidity / gate provisions
@buylowsellhighh While DI’s execution has been excellent, his communication has been less than stellar. Constantly downplaying / laughing at guidance questions from analysts. Harping on PPMO safety concerns rather than it being a direct competitor to Evelydis. No clarity around buyback, etc.
@bennpeifert Sell 1x spx 1m ATMF put, buy 3x 3m spx 10d put. Negative game during calm markets, positive gamma during distress, hence “dynamic” lol
Performs well during ‘08 style sharp crash, not so much a slow grind down like the tech bubble
