There is something absolutely critical that no one seems to be discussing: Israel is on the brink of war with Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran.
For months, I've been saying that a larger-scale confrontation with Hezbollah is inevitable (see comments). However, there's an urgent point that demands immediate attention.
A broader conflict with Hezbollah, particularly if it involves a ground invasion of Lebanon, would undoubtedly provoke all of Iran's proxies in Syria and Iraq. This means Israel would face an army comprising Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi, and Iranian militants. They would be capable of moving across vast swathes of land, stretching from Tehran to Beirut, all while transporting munitions and weapons, and recruiting tens of thousands of antisemites who fantasise about Armageddon where they finally get to destroy Israel or die trying.
The US would most certainly be dragged into this war. This is what Russia/China want, AND it would most likely take the form of a war of attrition. If you think the Gaza war is taking too long, you've got another thing coming.
Additionally, any Russian and/or Chinese involvement may easily turn this into WW3. With Ukraine and Taiwan, this is an opportunity that the Russians/Chinese can't afford to miss.
A few months I said that a broader confrontation with Hezbollah was inevitable. I also said WW3 is inevitable. Today, WW3 appears much closer than many can even imagine.
I don't intend to scare you. This is merely a warning. We've got a few tough years ahead. Man up, but be patient.
