@BramfordHistory The Shepherd’s ring a bell with me but, can’t say I knew them or where they lived but again, mentioned on that same page is, Derrick hill. Now I know the Hill’s of Flowton {excuse the pun} didn’t they live up a cart track off Tye lane. Leading to the back of Flowton !! .

Bramford Angel inn dart team, runners up in final against crowfield rose at the Co Op hall 19.60 ish.

The cock inn, in the late 50s & 60s was Landlord was Lotte & Fred Page, and the angel inn, Eva & Frank Partridge. The Royal Oak. Landlord was Fred James. A great village inthose days.

@TonyTonysabout We think the timber framed cottage on the left was demolished first - probably not long after the photo was taken. The other row - called Well Cottages (as pictured below) survived until the 1960's.

@BramfordHistory Brilliant, I can vaguely remember those demolished houses, weren’t they pulled down about the same time as Bramford county modern school was built and Duckermere. Date ? Ive not a clue !!! 🙄

@BramfordHistory Just might be able to have-at-a-guess, at just one boys name, Pryke, 6th from left, standing, with white open neck shirt. There is a couple of girls I know faces of but can’t name them, one being the girl in the front row, kneeling with a white dress. Thanks for sharing . Tony.
