3- of Kashmiris is to ignore a century of documented history. Their struggle started long before military deployments along the LoC-traced back to 1931 and the movements that followed. They have never been mere spectators in their own history but its principal participants.
1- No Kashmiri denies sacrifices made by the #PakArmy or by citizens of Pakistan, and those deserve recognition and respect. However, respect for those sacrifices cannot come at the cost of denying or questioning the history and identity of people who call the region home.
Anger after Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif questioned the Kashmiri identity of people from Azad Kashmir's Rawalakot and Mirpur.
Khawaja Asif said that Rawalakot is “not Kashmir” and suggested that people from Rawalakot and Mirpur are not the real Kashmiris because they speak Pothohari.
2- To state some facts: Kashmir has always been multilingual and multiethnic. The former princely state was home to Kashmiri, Pahari, Gojri, Dogri and many other linguistic communities. So speaking Pahari or Potohari does not make someone any less Kashmiri. To question sacrifices
4- The #ActionCommittee agreed to dialogue with simple and reasonable conditions. This is certainly not something to be missed. The way forward lies only in #dialogue not confrontation.
1-For all those who do not understand the language, you are hearing a #Kashmiri mother crying for #Pakistani soldiers martyred in #M17 crash in #Muzaffarabad. It is a clear message to all those spreading #hateandmisinformation. There is no and will never be a Pakistan vs Kashmir
3-Any anti-Pakistan elements may exploit the protests for self-serving agenda making it even more dangerous. It is very delicate and challenging time which demands #responsibility, #restraint, #safety and #seriousngagement from both sides.
Being a woman is a strength and the greatest things we can do is uplift each other. Let's try supporting, helping, and admiring another woman, celebrate her achievements, stand by her struggles, and encourage her dreams. Let’s build each other up
#HappyWomensDay
Today is a momunental day for the Pakistan telecom and IT industry. Three important milestones achieved today in collaboration with PTCL, SCO, PTA, De CIX, PEACE Cable and China Mobile:
1. We have reached an agreement for China to start routing their Internet traffic through Pakistan — making Pakistan a regional hub for connectivity. This will earn Pakistan huge revenue for Internet transit traffic.
2. Etisalat has setup Pakistan’s first carrier-neutral IXP and Data center in Pakistan to strengthen the reliability of internet connectivity.
3. PTCL will work with DE CIX German data center and IXP operator to run the operations of this new data center. Bringing a world-class data center operator to Pakistan will now enable us to both bring super-scaling cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud and Azure to Pakistan and provide a local content hub for content services such as YouTube, TikTok and Netflix.
4. Pakistan’s internet users can now access services locally and Pakistan can become a hub of regional connectivity.
As mutually agreed;
1. Ambassadors of Iran 🇮🇷 & Pakistan 🇵🇰 return to their respective posts by 26 January 2024;
2. H.E. @Amirabdolahian, Hon. FM of the IR Iran will undertake a visit to Pakistan on 29 January, 2024, invitated by H.E @JalilJilani, Hon. FM of IR. Pakistan.
China plans to boycott the G20 meeting hosted by India, which is scheduled to take place in the disputed Himalayan territory of Kashmir.
