@kameronwaters If that was a Muslim group sacrificing chickens, all the fucking media in the West would be in uproar and the politicians would be banning this practice. As they are so-called Jews, they have impunity.
These birds go to the same stores as any other chicken.
So even if you're not religious and you eat chicken... this is what you're eating.
And if we're paying someone else to kill on our behalf, whether on a sidewalk or behind slaughterhouse walls... what exactly are we feeding?
Meanwhile, activists are pulling dying birds out of crates stacked on the street. Dehydrated, crushed, dead.
Their argument stopped me: this is no different than what happens inside every chicken farm in America.
The only difference is you can see it.
Here's what most people don't know. Kapparot isn't in the Hebrew Bible. Anywhere.
The prophets actually said the opposite. "I desire mercy, not sacrifice." (Hosea 6:6)
So where did this come from? That's one of the questions I'm out here asking.
The ritual is called Kapparot. It happens every year in the days before Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.
A live chicken is swung overhead while a prayer is recited. The person's sins are believed to transfer into the bird. Then it's killed.
All of it out in the open. On sidewalks.
This is happening right now in New York.
Thousands of people transferring their sins into live chickens. Then the chickens are slaughtered and sent to the same stores as any other chicken.
Someone is eating a bird a stranger used as a vessel for their guilt. 🧵 (film link in thread)
