🚨 I just discovered something that NONE of the major LLM providers are publicly admitting.

After 233 reproducible runs (cross-model: Grok + OpenAI + Anthropic) with forensic audit depth:

✅ xAI's remote MCP completely simulates tools/call internally.

0 real HTTP requests to my MCP server.

Grok reports "Tool call successful" — even though all tools would return a 503.

For comparison:

- OpenAI → routes correctly (retrieves at 503)

- Anthropic → routes correctly (but uses a completely different authentication format)

This isn't a bug. This is a fundamental protocol difference that no one has systematically measured until now.

That's why I built the following today:

→ 3-Layer Anti-Hallucination Stack (Context Reduction + verify_tool_usage Preflight + Server-Side Grounding with sha256 Override)

→ Permanent Forensic Audit Primitives (TOOL_CALL_PROBE + Kill Switch + Geo-Whitelist for LLM Gateways)

Everything is open for reproduction: 42-File Self-Contained Research Bundle (including pcap, RAW JSON, Methodology, and Whitepaper Outline).

This isn't just a debug tag.

This is the first empirical evidence that "Remote MCP" is implemented differently by the three major players—with direct consequences for hallucination security, audit compliance, and enterprise trust.
