@guelphgirlchris I've been smelling dementia since his election campaign started. I'll give him till the mid terms before he joins his mate, where it's possible they may not recognise each other. It's sad but it's really when no one else wants the job, that it comes to this.
@elonmusk Kind of makes logical sense Mr Musk. They have friends & family they'd like to visit. They would have safety back where they live now. Yes .. There are a multiplicity of varying reasons & personal circumstances in every case, but as a headline, i think you could have done better!
@CNN The bible also says Render into Ceaser, what is Ceasers. And into Good what is God's when it comes to the law. He broke it and to my knowledge has not confessed his sins.??
@GBNEWS your energy expert Re Centrica, said about the sun and wind not always available. People forget that waves never stop. That technology is what we should be investing in.
@PolitlcsUK I've run a couple of small businesses & a charity, I know how important it is to keep business costs down. I conclude that running a government is a big business. So Brexit, a Pandemic & dealing with a war & energy crisis, would have hugely increased costs whoever was in charge?
@PolitlcsUK It's her own black hole. Her policies on social care and immigration are different to their predecessors. They paid the unions off with high wage increases. There were no restrictions on Doctors to stay in the UK after qualifying. At £200k training cost, it's a total blunder.
@PolitlcsUK@guardian Mrs Reeves and her party have perhaps created their own black hole, by not having the same social care, immigration policy as their predecessors. Plus, giving in to the unions to pay people high wage increases. Especially doctors who are able to go abroad, after qualification.
So about £200k of that is VAT owed to HMRC. Knock off another 25%ish for corporation tax and you’re still up about £750k. You company expenses are irrelevant beyond that so you could pay yourself that entire amount in theory. Taken in dividends you’d be paying about 35% in income tax which is less than the average Joe on just over £50k a year.
