https://t.co/7DZU1U6C0O
In an effort to boost youth entrepreneurship and innovation, the Federal Government has opened the application portal for the Student Venture Capital Grant (S-VCG), which supports student-led ventures with equity-free grants of up to ₦50 million.
The initiative is part of the government’s effort to discover high-potential innovations within higher institutions, and focuses on student innovators in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medical Sciences (STEMM) fields.
The grant, which specifically targets full-time undergraduate students in 300-level and above across accredited Nigerian tertiary institutions, also allows applicants to receive mentorship, incubation support, and business development services to scale their ventures and tackle real-world challenges.
To ensure transparency and accountability, the programme is being implemented in partnership with the Bank of Industry (BOI) @BOINigeria.

An OPC member has questioned Governor Abdulrahman’s decision to bring Fulani into Kwara State, asking why such a move is necessary when the OPC is already present. Watch the video below.
🚨 BANDIT ALERT 🚨
Information reaching us: Anyone travelling on the Kontagora–Birnin Yauri axis should hold off movement. A 300-bike strong bandit group from Zamfara is reportedly close to the area and appears to be moving towards Kwara or New Busa axis.
Exercise extreme caution and stay safe.
4th day of setting goats structure.
Stick to the plan. You carry the blueprint.
My mother once told me a story.
All animals and insects gathered for their annual dance competition. The Big Five ,lion, Hippo , elephant, buffalo, and rhino were the judges. Not because they were great dancers, but because their size made it impossible to dance. Imagine a hippo trying to breakdance 😂😂.
The hare, as usual, was there. He never missed such events. The hyena also showed up, dressed to kill, hoping to turn heads. The hare, being full of opinions, started flattering the ants. He praised their beauty, especially their tiny waists.
The hyena overheard. Curious and insecure, it pulled the hare aside. “Tell me, how do I look?”
The hare, acting as chief beauty consultant, replied without blinking. “You look fine, but if you tighten your waist like the ant, you will look even better.”
The hyena rushed off and, with help from a baby hippo, started pulling the belt tighter and tighter. In the process, they broke the hyena’s hip. The slay hyena missed the dance, and worse, lost its life 😟😟.
Flattery and opinions killed the hyena.
That story reminds me of my goat project. I have a plan, and I stick to it. It does not need endless reviews. I share my journey so you learn from my wins and my mistakes.
Many young people fail not because they lack a plan, but because they allow other people’s opinions to become stronger than their own.
Stick to the plan.
