My former neighbor in Ogba relocated to Australia last year. I remember before he left, he said that when he finally moved out of Nigeria, he would never look back.
When chief Akanbi's list of delegates surfaced online yesterday, he chatted me up, and we talked about the wastage, inflation, insecurity, and more. We spent almost one hour on the phone, and when we were almost done, I said, "But you told me once you leave Nigeria, you won't talk about the country again"? He kept quiet for a while, and he said "Baba one can't just look away like that. These things are painful."
Truth is, as a Nigerian, either in Nigeria or abroad and you still have your conscience intact, and your IQ is functioning well and your mind is yet to be politically manipulated, you will feel sorry for Nigeria. The rate at which these jackals and hyenas in government are devouring the flesh of this country will make every sensible human being cry for her.
The poverty in the land is man-made. We are one of the blessed people in the world with every resources we needed to live a comfortable life but devil also planted disasters in our midst in the name of politicians and their allies in civil service commission. Prayers will not fix Nigeria, Nigerians will fix Nigeria when "WE" are ready to fix it, but before then, let us keep crying for the defenseless entity.
I'll never forget today. OAU failed us, God. The school officials are supposed to be at that EFCC Office to fight for their students but they kept quiet
Please @davido#FreeOAUStudents 🙏🏽
Please help us tell @AAdeleke_01 to reach out to EFCC on behalf of the OAU students that was arrested. ~69 students have been arrested from their hostel by EFCC because they have laptops, phones and a few cars…
EFCC published their names as suspected fraudster.. A list filled with innocent students.
Na beg we dey beg.
EFCC arresting university 69 students for having a laptop, mobile phones and cars, then calling them suspected fraudsters while parading them is 100% wrong..
You went into a large hostel, and arrested students because they have phones and laptops. In 2023, in a University??
I said it, guyssss if you google anyone's name, the first thing that pops up is that EFCC post about them, not their achievements, the hard earned degree 😭😭💔.
They need to take that post down.

We're writing this to express our grievance concerning the physical and emotional abuse, oppression, and suffering inflicted by EFCC officers upon some of our fellow students (four of them are recent pharmacy graduates!) and friends at Great Ife.
So EFCC went to raid OAU hostel and took away over 60 boys tagging them yahoo boys because they had phones and laptop, some were even taken away because they have a car.
They went on to Facebook and post it because they know those ones don’t know what’s going on.
Some of these boys just finished exams and are about to do clearance. Medical students for that matter, they have been beaten and not given access to even speak to a lawyer.
@officialEFCC free OAU students, Laptop doesn’t equate to doing Yahoo.
Please help me retweet and tag anyone who can help, one of my brother has been taken.
Free OAU students.

“Internet fraudsters work at night” This is your excuse for arresting over 70 students by 2am! How would you explain taking people’s phones and laptops without the owners? Are you interested in the fraudsters or the valuables you can get from them?! #FreeOAUStudents#OAUTwitter
