BREAKING: Yemen’s Houthis appear to have struck three separate important energy infrastructures across Saudi Arabia — the YASREF refinery in Yanbu, Aramco’s Abha bulk plant and an area in Dammam — with major fires reported at all three sites.

In Yanbu, footage shows a large fire at the 400,000-barrel-per-day YASREF refinery, with thick black smoke and workers reportedly evacuated. NASA FIRMS has detected two heat anomalies inside the facility, including one at high confidence.

Abha, in southwestern Saudi Arabia, was also hit, with footage showing major fires at an Aramco bulk plant following reported Houthi drone and missile attacks.

In eastern Saudi Arabia, additional footage shows a large fire in Dammam, marking another reported incident hundreds of kilometers from Yanbu and Abha.

Three locations. Three regions.

Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure is now being pressured from the Red Sea coast to the southwest and deep into the east.

This is no longer one strike.

It is a nationwide test of Saudi Arabia’s oil infrastructure.

BREAKING: After Iran, Yemen’s Houthis have reportedly laid naval mines across the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a Yemeni military source told German news agency DPA — putting a major oil artery carrying roughly 5.4 million barrels of crude and condensate a day at risk.

The Houthis already control key positions around Bab al-Mandab, including Perim Island at its center. Mines could now turn the water itself into a threat for tankers and warships.

Hormuz is also still mined by Iran, putting two critical energy chokepoints under simultaneous maritime threat.

The world’s oil arteries are being turned into minefields.
