Norway and France have signed a new agreement to provide Ukraine with key capabilities in surveillance, situational awareness, and air-to-ground weapons.
As a first step, Norway will contribute approximately NOK 4.2 billion, while France will guarantee a loan of around NOK 3 billion. The support includes the acquisition of flexible glide bombs from the French defence industry – weapons that Ukraine already operates and has requested.
“The projects reflect Ukraine’s most pressing priorities and will deliver rapid effect,” said Minister of Defence @toreosa.
